Damn, I must be living in a shack. My home's worth is just under twice my annual gross.
It is funny - I couldn't afford nor would I pay what my home is "worth" now - and neither would my neighbors for their houses...maybe that is a sign...
Wow...wish I could find a place like that! Around here, anything like that is bulldozed to build things that are "affordably starting at..." 8 times my annual gross.
Nah...U R just RICH, and Kennedy/Kerry/Clinton want U to 'contribute' (via taxes) more to the poor.......LOL....
My home is assessed for taxes at 50% more than my annual gross. It's a nice 3900 sq ft shack on 1/3 acre in a very nice neighborhood. My previous 1334 sq ft shack on 1/4 acre in San Diego is 4 times my annual gross.
I purchased another 2068 sq ft shack on 1/4 acre with my income tax refunds last February. I have a mortgage of $78K on that one. The 3900 sq ft one is free and clear...except for property taxes. The 2068 sq ft place will be income property.
