In the short run you are very correct, but in the long run, History will show Clinton for what he is, and the lies he told yesterday might score some short term results, but they can't hold up to the scrutiny that the facts will bare. 41 and 43 are not stupid, they know what Clinton is and when the truth is told, 41 and 43 used 42 not the other way around.

The more X42 lies like he did yesterday, the more damage X42 is doing to the legacy he is so desperately trying to salvage

After you read "Compromised", by Terrence Reed, FReepmail me and I'll supply you with some names of Narcotic Officers in So. California that bought multimillion dollar houses.
This was back in the eighties when a million dollars was a lot of money even.

"I like him," Bush 41 said, despite the verbal thrashing Clinton administered to his son on ABC's "This Week" the day before.

And Bush 41 has a screw loose!!!!!!!!!!!!!! William Jefferson Clinton was one of the things that went wrong with America. And he is using his new-found stage to promote a continuation of the 'Clinton years'. To be frank, maybe next time Bush 41 meets with WJC he might ask him if he really did rape Juanita Broaderick, and report to the world what the answer was??????? The Bush's are playing with slime and are going to get burned big time, IMHO!!!!!!!!!!!

He's not even doing a simple nothing, but speaking up for the liar who is trashing his son---and President.

There's a much bigger picture here...........and I'm sure that his son is in agreement with his Dad that there is no gain in returning insult for insult.

Bill Clinton is not 'triumphing'....... he's flailing in the dark, and only the media gives a rip about what he says.

This is much ado about nothing, IMO.

Both the Bush men are pure class, and the contrast between them and the debauched one is self-explanatory.

"He respects the PRESIDENCY."

Decent men don't respect the "presidency" without qualification. Decent men don't respect anything without qualification.

The servile and corrupt do.

Oh, indeed. Having the greatest repsect for a traitor and sexual psychopath is, you know, part of Washington decorum these days.

I liken it to the Bushes (daddy or son) bringing a knife to a gun fight with Clinton. The Bushes seem to get glassy-eyed and miss the mark everytime they refer to the Clintons in glowing terms. Clinton was the most evil and traitorous president in our nation's history. I'm sickened by the Bushes and their attempts at taking the high road, trying to appear noble, honorable and tone deaf when it comes to dealing with the evil Clinton machine. The Clintons can easily be exposed to the masses. W has the bully pulpit, but oddly enough, he seems to have a chronic case of laryngitis when it comes to criticism or exposing the truths about the Clintons.

What did you expect Bush I to say? 'Clinton is a low-life, sexual predator, sorry excuse for a President, let alone human being, murderer and rapist'???

Get real.

Ah........so now George H. W. Bush and his son are 'servile and corrupt.'

So much for considering anything else you have to say. Even the DUmmies know better than that.

"Yeah well I wonder what Mrs. 41 thinks. Take a guess."

She's a sweetheart. I think we should all write Barbara and tell her what WE think of her son! It will make her feel good.....believe me! I think she needs that by now.

I will never understand why the Bushes give this guy any credibility. Run in the other direction and don't ever look back.

The only answer 41 or 43 should give is... "Willy who?"

Here's the problem.

What is the difference between being a pious man, and a wimp, in Bush's response to the insults of Judas Clinton?

A pious man has courage to name the act of treachery, and then forgive.

A wimp says "I like him".

By the way, my preferred response, that of a Crusader Warrior, would be to throttle the P.O.S. and then beat up on his traitor wife.

Actually, I think Mr Reactionary does expect that.

But, of course, Bush 41 won't say such a thing because he is 'servile and corrupt.' ROFLOL!!

(I do so love extremist nonsense, don't you, rintense? )

This is the problem with the Republican party. I don't know why they have to be a bunch of wusses. They win elections and act like losers.

We need a strong conservative party. Any volunteers?

there is no gain in returning insult for insult.

You see some moral equivalency there? I don't. Truth corrects lies and errors, and there certainly is gain in correcting lies and errors.
I'm not from the school of lie-back-and-enjoy-it.

Everyone of us would like to throttle them both. But to expect vitriol out of Bush41 is nonsense.

And calling him a 'wimp' is beyond preposterous.

The man is a war hero and a gentleman.

Most of you armchair macho men aren't aren't up to GHW Bush's belt buckle when it comes to courage.
