Mother Who Lost Son in Iraq Continues Fight Against War (Sheehan Demands Hillary Say Iraq War a Lie)

Cindy Sheehan, the mother of an American soldier killed in Iraq, last night brought her campaign to end the war to New York, where she accused Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of not doing enough to challenge the Bush administration's Iraq policies.

Speaking in front of more than 500 supporters in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, Ms. Sheehan, speaking of Senator Clinton, said, "She knows that the war is a lie but she is waiting for the right time to say it."

Then, as the crowd cheered, she issued a challenge to Senator Clinton, saying, "You say it or you are losing your job."

A spokesman for Senator Clinton, while not commenting about Ms. Sheehan's remarks, said that the senator, while voting to give President Bush the authority to go to war, has been very critical of the way he has chosen to use that authority....."

They showed the clip of Sheehan saying this on O'Reilly tonight. Sheehan is demented to go against HRC this way. Democratic consultant Mary Ann Marsh on the program distanced herself while OReilly chuckled.

Sheehan is enjoying her 15 minutes.

Interesting that the NYT saw fit to describe her that way in the headline as opposed to simply saying "Cindy Sheehan Continues ..." All part of the Cindy makeover to get her back front-and-center? I wonder if the good people of NO have said "we'll keep the soldiers, thank you very much."

I was forwarded an email about Cindy claiming she did not have a hand in raising her son. He was raised by his father and stepmother and they were very proud of him and were supportive of the war in Iraq. It claimed Cindy was not very involved in his life....Has anyone else seen this information or is it more Internet BS
