The second time was when I went through the Border Patrol/ICE checkpoint on the way home.

Can I assume at no point did you actually cross a US border?

Zicam severe congestion gel in the green bottle works like a charm. No side effects.

I have very similar symtoms. Here is a great product I found which helps me:

Walgreens brand
Wal-Phed Plus (green package)
nasal decongestant/antihistamine

Oh, and yes, if I find out that the highschoolers in my area who are doing meth are buying it from, say, my next-door neighbor I will promptly and gladly inform my local police.

Sad but true.

Meanwhile, I have to jump hoops to get my sinus medication. it is probably easier to buy meth than cold pills these days. /sarcasm

Right, so you say lets all hail Satan and stick needles in our arms because it is the rational and conservative thing to do in the name of the Constitution.

No thanks!

That's a little extreme, don't you think? Simply because someone says drugs should not be illegal does not mean he thinks everyone should do them. For example, I don't want tobacco to be illegal, but I don't smoke, and I don't like to be around smokers.

It's simply the difference between being responsible for oneself, or having the government ride herd on your every action.

Now, you might very well be one of those folks who would be shooting up constantly if drugs were not illegal. However, that does not mean everyone else would automatically follow suit.

"Oh, I thought his sinuses were a victim because of habitual snorting of chemicals."

If that was the case, the govenment would be breaking down his door trying to feed him drugs, put him on programs, and give him a check to buy more with.

I think the WOD is a "miserable failure" but you have a point there.

The WOD is a tremendous success in achieving its real goal of training us to put up with worshipping our government masters and seeking their permission for even the simplest things.

Hey, where's the sympathy for The Wife.

I sleep with a snorer. It's beyond horrible. It's not just rhymic snoring. It's snorting, gasping, jumping, talking in the sleep, pummelling out (usually missing me, fortunately).

And NOTHING wakes him up. I had to leave again last nite for the spare room.

I don't care about him, but his wife is in my prayers.

People who use ocycontin properly for real pain don't have addiction problems. It's those that obtain it illegally or fraudulently that use it for one reason, to get high, that end up with the problems, but those are the same ones who would smoke dope (thus becoming one)take meth or other drugs.

Yes, lets use silly comparison's to address the illegal drug problems and addictions to them in this country.

...Wal-Phed Plus (green package)...

Use it to drain my sinuses and cut down on the ringing in my ears due to congestion.

There are some new little thingees that one puts in one's nostrils. They look like a method of torture and cost thirty bucks, but are supposed to work.

The DP got some but hasn't used them yet.

1. Mr. Martin probably needs more help than OTC drugs can offer here - I'd recommend a visit to a specialist.

2. The issue isn't just that he has to ask for his nostrum of choice, it's that it has become legislated into complete inavailability. That strikes me as overkill. You really can't cook much meth from two packages of this stuff.

3. People on opposing sides of this issue really need to cut out the name-calling. It isn't polite and it stands in the way of useful discourse. You Nazis.

Have you had him tested for sleep apnea? The gasping suggests he may have it. It can be dangerous if left untreated.

1. Large room air purifier running in bedroom at night.

2. Keep pillows either washed or replaced. Real dirty with
dust mites.

3. Keep hair clean. Lots of dust and pollen collect in
the hair.

4. Keep bedroom especially free of dust; furniture, bed
linens and curtains get dusty.

5. Let a little bit of sunshine and fresh air into the
house during the day so you aren't breathing the same
stale air all the time.

6. Avoid perfumes, colognes, aftershaves, hairspray and
harsh chemical bathroom cleaners and deodorizers.

7. Change pillow cases between regularly scheduled bed
linen changes.

8. Stay away from those over the counter nose sprays. They
are evidently designed to create dependence, or at least
they do create a situation where you have to have them
or else keep a stopped up nose.

9. Stay away from foods in the ragweed family.
