Someone post that picture of the Mufti of Jersusalem meeting with Nazi brass.
bump for later
That ''one people," of course, are the Jews.
If it's not about Muslims, there is no value to anything. Muslims are the most self centered group in history.
How about the genocide of Armenians by Muslim Turks of the Ottoman Empire? Anyone? Anyone?
and the massacres of Bosnian Muslims by the Milosevic regime.
Yeah, even though those "massacres" were almost exclusively of men of fighting age, wearing fatigues, in villages where a lot of guns were laying around. That's a lot like women, children, and the elderly along with men being dragged off to death camps and shot or gassed, or worse.
Anyways, the Holocaust never happened. That's what Mahmoud Abbas told me.
Owl_Eagle(If what I just wrote makes you sad or angry,
"...4,000 Palestinians have been killed since the renewel of violence 5 years ago. Some of these dead were completely innocent victims; others were fighters, violent protesters, or suicide bombers. (Nearly 1,000 Israelis have died as well.)"
Implication? Israel purposely killed 4,000 innocent Palestinians. Better yet, the 1,000 Israelis that have been killed were not innocent and only rate a mention in paranthesis.
"And who remembers the Armenians?" /Hitler
I don't think so. The Khmer Rouge specifically went after those of Vietnamese descent.
The Nazis used any religion to further their power. For example, the Nazis raised two Muslim Waffen SS Divisions during the war. These were the only true "religious" SS Division the Nazis ever created (and it is safe to say that the Germany was not a Muslim nation). Himmler was fascinated by the thought of Muslims to be fearless soldiers willing to kill for their religion. One of these Muslim Waffen SS divisions (The Hanjer Division) was responsible for the murder of over 90 percent of the Yugoslavian Jewish population.
The Nazi's and Muslims were also united in their hatred of that form of government that was thought to be the product of Jewish and Christian culture...democracy. Hitler called England a Jewish nation and hated the U.S. for the same reason. Neither Hitler's totalitarianism nor Islam's concept of world caliphate is compatible with democracy.
Here is a link to an excellent article regarding the commonality of Islam, the left, secular Europe, and the Nazi's (the article itself was posted on FR yesterday or the day before)...
"Democratic Universality and Its Adversaries" by Joel Fishman

The last paragraph is pathetic- all these MOOsLIME groups and their leaders and their press are anti-semetic---but that doesn't mean all moooslimes are. No I'm sure theres a plumber in Jakarta who's indifferent on the subject.
I have no problem with a Genocide day instead of a Holocaust day. However, the Muslims would be shown largely as perpetrators, not victims.
A small thing I noticed while reading the article -- their clerics make "claims" this or that happened; while we write books to prove our thesis.
I also can't believe MSM actually admits some of the nasty things Muslims says about Jews (pigs and monkeys, etc.) and how widespread it is.
Yet, on the other hand, we need to loudly proclaim the truth about Islam and that includes the outrageous things they say. Everyone knows that the Jewish people are a remarkable people and we also know that if anyone is decended from monkeys or pigs, it is Mohammed.
And quite frankly, I have a higher opinion of pigs and monkeys than I do Mohammed and his devout followers.
You're absolutely right, but don't forget Assyrians and Greeks who died alongside Armenians. With that said, if the memorial will just be for the Nazi genocide in WWII timeframe, it wouldn't be historically correct to be just about the Jews. Almost as many, or even the same number of others were killed. I'd like to see a memorial specifically for the Armenians, etc. because hardly anybody even knows it happened, and it is a perfect example of Muslims killing Christians on a huge scale.
Hmmm... I find the fact that a Muslim wants a "Genocide Memorial Day" very telling.
