Hey Freepers...
What other blogs, or websites would y'all recommend to somebody who wants to know more about politics.
Free Republic has been an "all-you-can-eat" service for me, but I'm looking for something more out there...but still with a conservative bent. (Please don't suggest DU to me.)
Just wondering what everybody's reading out there.
http://www.blogsforbush.com/ Or ...
Then look at the side lines of their blogs and see what they have listed. Usually these bloggers have a vast listing of other bloggers and you can go from there.
Blog away! It means freedom.
ROFLOL, are sure it's not 'TLBSH0W'?
There were lots of Freepers who used to post articles from his site prior to the 2004 election cycle, but he turned against Republicans when President Bush came out against "gay marriage".
Little Green Footballs
Some people out there don't like us. LGF has their number. Read what our enemies are saying in their own words. And an excellent comments community, too.
James Lileks
The Bleats are hysterical, the Screeds are brilliant and hysterical, and there is no more entertaining afternoon on the web than a tour of The Institute of Official Cheer. Beyond genius.
Belmont Club
Stunningly original insights and what has been simply the best analysis of events on the ground in Iraq that I have ever come across. Genuinely magnificent thinking.
The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler
Emperor Misha I gets his blood pressure up so that you don't have to. Real red-meat attacks on Idiotarians and America-haters, both foreign and domestic.
Cold Fury
Beautiful writing, gorgeous layout and a path not too different from my own. 'Harshing your mellow since 9/01.'
IMAO
I could write as funny as this if I wanted to. I could. I could! Damn you, Frank...
Front Line Voices
Real stories from Real troops on the ground in Iraq. You MUST read these letters. This is IMPORTANT. Go there NOW
Here are other blogs dicussing Hurricane Katrina and relevant topics: Mud&Phud on Blanco's dithering, American Mind on how Red Cross was "Blanco blocked", Dean's World: Western socities only "four meals from anarachy", Diggers Realm on Katrina relief, Scrapple Face on Hillary's FEMA, Outside the Beltway on political issues slowing intervention, and .
Here are more: Michael King on how Red Cross got blocked, Tiger Hawk, Blackfive on how Dems are trying to profit from Katrina, Argghhh has lots of info, GOP Bloggers, Prf. Bainbridge on Subsidiarity and Katrina, Q and O is wary of centralized disaster planning, Anchoress on the kindness of Texans, Moxie has donation ideas, LaShawn Barber on FEMA's Michael Brown, Michelle Malkin says Michael Brown is relieved of Katrina duty, Wizbang is happ that "idiot" Brown is gone, , Sondra says we're "horrible" and Rightwingnuthouse has a great take on current events.
Virtually all blogs have links to other blogs-- cruise around and have a look.
I personally prefer those with a "comments" option, for that is where the best minds, links, references ( and a few trolls & disruptors ) lie.
Hey you!
Ill like to engage in debate here....
