Michael Schiavo to Tell His Side of the Story in Book

Michael Schiavo is co-writing a book with author Michael Hirsh to tell his side of the end-of-life case that divided much of the country. Schiavo's wife Terri suffered a brain injury in 1990 that left her in what some doctors called a "persistent vegetative state." She died March 31 after a bitter court battle between her husband and her parents.

Hirsh expects the 280-page book, "Terri: the Truth," to be available just before the first anniversary of Terri's death. Dutton Publishing publicity manager Jean Anne Rose confirmed that the company is publishing the book in March.

Michael Schiavo's decision to remove a feeding tube that kept his brain-damaged wife alive alienated him from her parents, drew a Congressional intervention and even prompted criticism from President Bush.

Hirsh, 62, is a Vietnam veteran and a former Los Angeles television producer who has written three books about the military.

Michael's side of the story. Which is it HINO? Was Terri 1. face up or 2. face down? What side was it??? You remember Terri wanted to be murdered but you can't remember if she was face up or face down.

The M.E. was working for Jeb Bush who had to tie up loose ends to save his own skin. Unfortunately, the GOP party in Florida is in sad shape for martying Terri. The coverups are a lot more difficult than it would have been to just let her live. Terri's laughing at www.renewamerica.us. Purposeful laughter. Any idea what purposeful means?

You mean there were no city police officers at your granddad's bedside keeping your family a foot away, refusing him ice chips, searching your family and making you show id and turning you away because a control freak (HINO) wanted to laugh as they turned round to cross the street upon refusal for admittance to the hospice from hell in Pinellas Park? Hospice Woodside with swat teams in the apt bldg next door, k-9 teams hiding in the bushes, cops with plenty of bottled water under their little white tent?

And Judge Greed controlled the air waves, the television coverage so he could pull off the coup of the century. Who gave Judge Greed all that power? I think we all know.

I'm glad that he was fortunate enough to be treated with the dignity he deserved. I wish Terri had been. She was murdered, in cold blood. That's just the ugly truth of it.

Bill Clinton is all over tv bashing President Bush. As if Bubba could have handled a natural disaster any better. He was slow to get to Andrew and slow to get to OKC.

I'm second to nobody in my abiding hatred for Bill Clinton, but you're wrong here. He wasn't president when Hurricane Andrew hit. The big problem was that Lawton Chiles invited Candidate Clinton to come tour the damage while insisting that the current president, the first President Bush, not come to Florida for days.

You ought to do a little research now and then.

Honestly, I don't know of a vet that would euthanize healthy animals on a person's whim. Is there documentation, like a bill or the veterinarian's testimony?

The Vet filed an affidavit when Michael lied in court. I don't know if know if the info is still available. If it would make a difference, I would hunt for it.

Read the Coroner's report, not that it would change your mind any, because for whatever reason, you need to believe the lie over the truth.

I know the Coroner got rave reviews for his report on both sides of the issue. What seemed to be ignored, is the terrible effects on the brain with the process of dehydration. If you can find that dehydration has no effect on the brain, please post it.
