When Iraq has come up on shows today, its just been sniping from the left about "the horrible uptick in the 'insurgency'", and "the bad headlines that would be coming out of Iraq if NO wasn't on the front pages"

NO ONCE, did ANYONE feel the need to explain that the most recent 'uptick' is a direct result of MAJOR arse-kicking operation with thousdands of Iraqi troops combined with our forces on the Syrian boarder.

Nope, no need to mention that the Z-man even released a message 'threatening chemical attacks' if we didn't leave his stronghold alone. No word of the 400+ terrorists killed and 300+ captured, not to mention the bomb factories and huge weapon caches we found.

The recent 'uptick' is what the Zarqawi himself called "the final battle"... hes getting hit HARD... but no... only the "uptick in the insurgency" is worth mention......

That in my view was another mistake yes continue search and rescue but she should have assigned some of the guard to stopping the looters as they must have been hampering the rescue as rescue services could not go to areas where there was gang warfare.

IMHO should have been a joint operation of law enforcement and rescue.

I wonder how many people the MSM are responsible for giving Heart Attacks and strokes or serious depression because of the way they portray our Military, Our President, People of Faith, Republicans? They are never upbeat unless there is Tragedy that they can use to beat Republicans up even though it has nothing to do with Republicans, but is really because of Democrat lack of Leadership, and responsibility. Clinton failed to keep us safe every time he got the chance he was too busy raising money and having sex with untold number of gullible women. He once remarked that he loved his job and it was easy when he was President, sure when you don't do a &^%&#@(*) thing when you are President, you leave the mess for the next guy, always kicking problems down the road. George Bush does not do that, and that is what makes a Great leader instead of a total failure as a leader, and human being like Slickie. Slickie always had to take a poll whenever he had to make a decisive move, and he failed miserably because he was not willing to take a political hit to do the right thing. He really had no moral compass, and no vision.

The MSM will never report good news coming out of IRAQ, until the day we leave and THEN it will recap the HORRIBLE losses we have suffered and the diminished world opinion of us, nothing about 50 million people being freed and democracy inbedded in the Middle East.

By the way this month so far we have had ONLY 13 KIA's. By any standard of warfare an unbelievable number.
