You were great today...thrust and parry, that is what debate is all about...good going...
The media wing of the Democrat Party will make references to him vague enough to mislead the American people into thinking that he is the FEMA director, if they report it all.
And that's a good thing?
I am addressing the blatant lies that reporters spread during the days before NOs evacuation - the days of "NO FOOD and NO WATER" in the Superdome - which was a lie.
They made Americans watching them on TV crazy, --- Bush's fault, Bush's fault!
They spread the message around the world that Americans were incompetent to react to a disaster. It was very irresponsible. General Honore has every right to be angry.
My FRiend, honest and open debate is what FreeRepublic is all about. Come on, didn't you find the debate stimulating? It was the Bush cheerleaders vs the Truth. And as usual, the truth won.
For the record, I took a critical viewpoint on Bush`s spending proposals for reconstruction in the gulf coast region and was condemned for not agreeing with at least a dozen Bush cheerleaders. It was like the blind leading the blind. LOL In all honesty, I enjoyed the challenge. And they didn't lay a glove on me.
So, if you have a serious problem with anyone, please direct your frustration at those FReepers who find it necessary to give a pass to this President after he announced to the world that cost isn't an issue. While big government Republicanism is alive and well in WashDC thanks to PresBush and the GOP Congress, there are many voices being raised that are questioning the potential costs of this operation. Mike Pence, Tom Tancredo, Lindsey Graham and Ron Paul have all spoken out against throwing money at the reconstruction project along the gulf coast. Conservative pundits like Brit Hume and Bill Kristol have echoed the same rhetoric.
I wish some of the Generals in Iraq would get just as mad, and express it...that the MSM and the dems keep misinforming America about what is really going on over there.
We need a General Honore to come out of Iraq and tell all how it really is!!!
I pray you are right. The Drudge headline is screaming --"Clinton Turns on Bush."
I know you are right. I'm just afraid that Clinton, being Clinton, will find a way to put a lot of that money into Hillary's campaign coffers.
here is something positive, soon enough Mike Pence, Tom Coburn and forty or so REAL conservatives will take over the GOP,rebuke the socialists,"right" the ship, and save the country.
Priceless and exactly the rat I've been smelling since Landrieu's meltdown last Sunday on Fox. NO one, not even her, can be as dumb as she pretended. If someone finds the minutes, they might want to mail them to Major Garret or Brit Hume.
I heard a woman interviewed on CNN who insisted that the condtions in the Astrodome were dreadful and that the people there were doing nothing for the refugees.
Another lie perpetrated by an evacuee and abetted by the CNN reporter.
So you believe Honore that there were NO snipers. Just a couple of good ole boys having a little dispute?
Ha! I'll bet you're right!
Considering the fact that there are already questions about Hillary's campaign $$$$ from 2000, she would be really foolish, but then again, when have the Clintons ever had to pay a price for their theft???
I also don't think the Senate has much of an ethics committee so I doubt they would do anything, even if there was evidence of campaign fraud....
There are two things about Bush that frustrate me to no end...and make me scratch my head: His stance on Border control...and his relationship with Clinton. I just don't get it.
I am speaking about his attitude...he doesn't suffer fools easily...which pretty much means the media and the dems..
I am sorry, but I hadn't heard before you posted it today...that there was any dispute about Honore's integrity, so I can't comment on that.
Gonna ping ya over to a thread on ABle Danger....Your answer to why he's keeping Hill/B Illy close may be there.
