WHEW!
As I scanned the list of guest my heart sank as the words Joseph Biden, D-Del seemed to be missing. How would I survive a Sunday without Joseph Biden, D-Del? How could we as a nation go on without Joseph Biden, D-Del? Would the earth cease to spin without the face of Joseph Biden, D-Del staring back at us from our idiot box?
I know that some day these questions will have to be answered but I am not ready to face them.

Russert will be gushing all over himself this morning, having ole Bill on. He probably is wearing the Depends, because he'll be wetting himself. Ahh... it'll be physically impossible for him to wet himself.

Bush's father followed this example well, never talked about Clinton. The Bush family has class. Actually, it seems to have become a dem/republican thing. The dem exes trash Republicans at every opportunity. The Republicans care more about their country and the office of the Presidency.

Don't forget Carter. The only Democrat ex-presidents who kept their mouth shut was JFK, for obvious reasons, and LBJ who retreated back to TX.

I was hoping that Bush41's class would somehow rub off on clinton, but there was nothing there to rub.

Just be sure to have the remote in hand when Russert's head disappears under the table and Clinton starts grunting.

That link is an interesting read; thanks for posting it.
Within hours of the hurricane and flooding, MoveOn.org had posted billboards around the area. Disgusting.
Senator Lindsey Graham is talking on FNC and answering questions about poverty and race. How I wish he would mention that Louisiana has been under Democratic rule for over 40 years.
Democrats constantly tell us that if they weren't impeded by Republicans, they could solve poverty. Louisiana is Exhibit 1 that proves the Democrats can't solve anything.
I wish Lindsey had further mentioned that it is an African American who didn't use buses to evacuate a largely minority population who didn't have resources and were most vulnerable to dying.

I agree. Also, I think Tony Blair is angry at Clinton because it was him started that African Poor's helping initiative. Clinton stole that entire initiative sucking his funding options.

Allen is working on an evac plan. Wow. Bet it costs less than what was previously diverted from evac planning, and I bet the resulting plan will be more workable to boot.

great quote here Morgan"
"he(bubba) believes everything he says because he's delusional"
I think he's slicker than that. I think Bubba will say anything, anytime, anywhere. It just depends on the situation and the setting(recall him shedding a tear on cue during a WWII funeral). As far a beliefs go, I really don't think he has any. I don't think the man believes in anything at all except the expedience of the moment.
I think he grabs all he can all the time and pays the price, if any, later on by lying his way out of any situation.

Thank you for posting this every Sunday.
FYI, there have been many "fallouts" from Katrina where people were saying, "But, but..."
And each time I said, it's in the book. Which I'm now rereading for the 20 millionth time :)
Mr. Frank had amazing vision.

Did I hear Chris Wallace correctly? Did Tom DeLay actually say that after 11 years of Republican leadership the budget and the government was a lean as it could possibly get? If that idiot DeLay honestly believes that then God help us all!
