I've been meaning to roast that boy for awhile now. Couldn't pass it up after his latest comedy of errors.

Not a fan of Sean Penn, but he did go down there personally and at his own expense set out to rescue stranded people. I'm not going to change my mind about his politics, but I'll give him kudos for putting his time and money where his mouth is.

Why is he the only one with Kevlar ???

Looking out for number one.

The expense that you're talking about is chump change for Penn. He couldn't care less about stranded people; it was merely a case of self-promotion for him.

He couldn't care less about stranded people; it was merely a case of self-promotion for him.If it was just simple self-promotion, then Hillary would have been down there too. I think that Penn's an ass, but in this case it was good that he was there to help.

Only Hollywood idiots take along a well known author and semi-journalist on a rescue mission. The tale of the shotgun and the boat is worthy of a good short story. Only in America.

Any idea how many he actually rescued? Any?
And how many did he rescue by stomping through New Orleans toting a shotgun?
Whatever good came out of Penn's actions in New Orleans are more than quantifiably negated by his ongoing acts of championing terrorists and tyrants in current-day Iran and latter-day Iraq.

Agree with you. His movies are tanking financially but he still receives an academy award.
To: auburntiger
having just returned from emergency relief work in New Orleans., i said the same thing about penn., that i respect that he came down to help his friends., until someone pointed out that he brought his personal photographer with him. . .?

Huh?

I already said that I think that Penn is a douche.
