Chopped Liver is just chopped liver. She does not see the reason MEN don't want her is that she has lived as a male and is now the proud recipient of her own wishes.

She lived by the philosopy that men are unnecessary and is pathetically shocked when all men have concluded they can equally live without her.

She is just irrelevant to men.

Just for another take....

I think many have overlooked the simple issue of time.

Relationship building takes time and women in excutive positions have exactly the same time issues as do men in executive positions -- they don't have any time.

Women who are available are more easily dated than those who aren't.

Women like that are 90% full of crap. I bet her inability to meet people has a hell of a lot more to do with her than some weird anti-smart-powerful-woman problem on the men's part.

Have you seen the movie, "Fever Pitch?" Or, read the book, "The Proper Care & Feeding of Husbands?" Maybe that is what the female exec needs to do.

The best advice I've seen involves the Church attendance and participation scenario.

I disagree. I'd be more than happy to find an intelligent, caring, self assured, successful business woman. Unfortunately, it's been my experience that they only exist in the "I hate men" movies shown on the Lifetime and Oxygen networks.

What? Do I seem bitter?

BS, it is the women in the higher positions that feel it is beneath them to date below their level. They are the ones that kill any chance at a relationship simply because they seek the alpha male in higher positions. This is pure and simple BS.

How can I meet... men I'd actually want to date?

I think I sense her problem.

-I'm a 32-year-old woman who's happy...-

Not. If she wants a man, what does she want him for? To be available when she can get away from the office? You get what you give.

My girlfreind makes over 16 times my income.

I must admit, there are akward times being involved with such a high powered woman. Lucky for me, she loves Jesus and was brought up well.

A lot of men do have trouble with having a spouse that has a position of power. Why? Cultural influences make them insecure in the relationship, making them feel inadequate, becuase they are not the bread-winner.

Of course, y ou can get the 'vampire', who looks to sponge off a successful wife. Perhaps, that is why some women will become cynical about men.

Love Got Lost -- Joe Jackson

Here we go, monday morning at last
In the land of the brave and the bold
Sunlight is hurting my eyes
But it's on to the glittering prize
There's a rent to pay

Gimme a coffee to go, make it fast
There'll be a merger before it gets cold
They've closed down the whole seventh floor
The young guns are ready for war
But I'm holding on

Long ago and far away
I was safe and sound
But love got lost
Along the way

Saturday night, went to see "La Boheme"
Used the spare ticket just for my coat
I guess I should swallow my pride
But I'd be damned if I'd hawk it outside
In the pouring rain

Monday morning, and no-one to blame
Keep hitting icebergs but I'm still afloat
I'd like a new body and face
But I'd settle for a friend with a space
On their calendar

Up to now, and hard to say
Wonder what I've found
But love got lost
Along the way

Here comes Mr. Worldly and Wise
If he touches me again I'll scream
I can't stand his sensitive eyes
Like I'm some dying diva to him

Touch me...don't touch me
Touch me...don't touch me

Long ago and far away
I was safe and sound
But love got lost
Along the way

This lady is apparently very intelligent. The question I have is, knowing your biological clock was ticking, why did you wait until you were 2nd in command to meet a future husband. You could have started much earlier when you were much less of a perceived threat.

A good place to meet a man is at the dry cleaner. These men usually have jobs and bathe.

The last nine words tells me all I need to know about this woman. Hope she enjoys her spinsterhood.
