...and more specifically, men I'd actually want to date? I think the Prince of Monaco might already be taken, which is a common problem with women nowadays.

Some people meet at church others meet at the frozen food section of the grocery store. Get your nose down where it belongs and it shouldnt be a problem.

I recently encountered a lady who told me in no uncertain terms that she was expecting a Dior watch, trips to exotic places and to be "treated like a princess" as part of a relationship.
That sort of behaviour makes me instantly say, "Cheque, please."

But, according to Brown and Lewis' study, men looking for dates or relationships tend to prefer their subordinates to their colleagues or bosses. They're not looking for a subordinate woman.......just one who's not competing with him. Don't blame them one bit.

Women like her paint themselves in a corner.
Men of lesser status or financial ability are out of the question. I've seen it in my company. Our two female execs are both unmarried and good looking. But they can't hold on to a man. These woman are so used to bossing people around they don't know how to turn it off.

Find a church with a nice big congregation and start to attend regularly. Get to know the people there as a woman who worships, and volunteers in the food pantry, and teaches Sunday School. Be vague about your work and resist the temptation to brag. If your car is too ostentatious, park it around the corner.
After about six months of this, the Little Ol' Ladies of the congregation will either have you fixed up with the man of your dreams or they will have to turn in their League of L.O.L. membership cards. Then your successful career and comfortable income will come as a surprise to a man who already knows you as a solid, responsible, compassionate person.

It's pretty simple. Men -- well, straight men, anyway -- no matter how much they deny it, are deep-down looking for a woman who shows promise of being good wife and mother material, and Ms Senior Vice-President is probably not likely to be one who wants to stay home and take care of the kids.
Most men already have an adequate supply of bosses and competitors. They don't want to take another one home and have to live with her 24x7.

Sure, plenty of men will scamper up the corporate ladder for a one-night standFor every one man that "scampers up" there have been at least ten-thousand women that have gone before him. This has always been a way for women to advance in a company. Screwing your way to the top has always been associated with women.
This whiner probably won't mention that she is a fem-nazi, control freak and total bitch. Men just don't have relationships with such women. Except for one night stands.

The woman got what she wanted: a well paying position of power and influence. Why is she complaining? Did she think she wouldn't have to pay a price - emotional or relational -for her success?
Perhaps she suffers from the Jane Pauley Syndrome: a psychological disturbance that afflicts women; it springs from the foolish hope or desire to have everything in life.
Everything costs something. To get something, you have to give up other things. Apparently, she didn't learn that in college or while climbing the corporate ladder.

"How can I meet men in general, and more specifically, men I'd actually want to date? "
Mayby it is men avoiding you? What I am seeing is the classic tall succesfull white woman syndrome. She said I was a model which says "I am the standard by which all should be measured." This is a big limb to jump off of but I think the lady has a mental disorder. She is looking for someone to be the dominant over her. Someone she wants to bow down to. Her own domestic God if you will.
If she marries a person of like type it will end in a divorce. She needs a Beta male-but more than likely she will treat him like crap and not respect him. So I think it is high time for this beeeatch to go lesbo.

There's a young 30's babe-o-licious high ranking Nationsbank Executive in Charlotte who bought herself a boy-toy sunbleached windsurfer type, married him and put him up in her home on Lake Norman.
I wonder how long she'll keep him?
