LOL I personally think this is a great idea. I am not a big fan of cats.
Arent's there huge numbers of strays living on the outskirts of Florida cities? Perhaps a viable alternative for the trucking industry at least.
Lastly, I just don't see what upsets the animal rights activists. It is not as if he is actually killing the cats.

Reuters ^ | Wed Sep 14,12:50 PM ET | unknown author from reuters BERLIN (Reuters) - A German inventor said he has developed a method to produce crude oil products from waste that he believes can be an answer to the soaring costs of fuel, but denied a German newspaper story implying he also used dead cats. Christian Koch, an inventor and patent holder of the "KDV 500" that he said produces high quality fuel, said he can transform waste products such as paper, rubbish and plastic materials into fuel. But Koch, 55, said there was no truth to stories published in Bild newspaper Tuesday and Wednesday that suggested he used dead cats...

Already debunked. Bild is the German equivalent of the Weekly World News.

I'm sure any road kill will do, raccons, skunks etc. It might not be very pleasant to be stuck in traffic with that thing idling next to you on skunk diesel though.

I fear that using cats as fuel could lead to a holocats.

Talk about bio-diesel. I bet it really makes his engine purr.

Don't worry about this having been posted earlier. Yours is NOT a same-day duplicate and that's the kind we all worry about.
Besides, not everyone got to see that one!

It's just another process added to cremation that will be finally done in an internal combustion engine instead of a furnace, what are they up tight about?
I think if it proves to be economical that all animals including humans that die should be made into fuel.
It could sure make a lot of good real estate available for development that is currently wasted on marble orchards.
