Naw give them someone to really get their knickers in a twist, Janice Rogers Brown.
Black Woman, share croppers daughter, and they will go after like they did SOS Rice, which will make the blacks wonder why the hell they have been supporting the rats or it should.

Exactamundo - and she will make mincemeat of Durbin, Schumer , Feinstein,(hic)Kennedy, Leahy, and any other Dhimmicrat inquisitors during confirmation hearings. She is an extremely bright person with more common sense in her right pinkie than that whole gaggle of left wing senatorial poltroons.

Hairry appears to be a low-life, pseudo-intellectual, inarticulate, Commie-loving, back-stabbing, DemonRat. It looks like he'd sell-out his own grandmother for a vote.
In toto: he's dukey.

It would be politically beneficial for Bush to pick someone the Dems would filibuster. Obstructionism has caused them to lose seats in the past and if they want to continue making the same mistakes, go for it.

If not Owen or Brown, give them the choice of Ann Coulter. Watch Dimwit heads explode.

My thoughts too. Janice Rogers Brown is what we need on the Court. Someone who will not back down from a fight.

Senator Reid has apparently decided to return to "full-blown *sshole" mode. It failed last time with Priscilla Owen. It will fail again. I condemn the Republican members of the Gang of 14 for postponing the showdown with the Democrats.
The national Democrat "leaders" are NOT the sort of people with whom any reasonable compromise can be made. They will take what the compromise offers, demand more, and deny they ever agreed to the compromise in the first place.
Harry Reid is a dishonest, thoroughly Machiavellian politician. I have known that since two months after his first election, when he cast the vote to kill a matter that he had campaigned in favor of, back in Nevada. He should always be approached as if he were first cousin to a sidewinder rattlesnake.
