CODE PINK URGES WALTER REED NEIGHBORS TO SIC POLICE ON FREEPERS
Friday, September 16, 2005 | Kristinn

Posted on 09/16/2005 8:42:42 PM PDT by kristinn

Stung by the success and resilience of the patriotic counter-demonstration by Freepers of Code Pink's ghoulish 'antiwar' protests outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., Code Pink leader Gael Murphy and a couple Pinkos distributed flyers door to door to the houses in a several block area around Walter Reed urging residents to call the police in order to run off the D.C. Chapter from there.

The two sided flyers featured a graphic promoting the 'antiwar' activities in Washington next weekend on one side and a letter from Code Pink to the residents in the Walter Reed neighborhood on the other.

The letter is typical Code Pinko propaganda. They give the residents their same old line about they care for the soldiers, blah, blah, blah. They don' t tell them that Code Pink endorsed Al Qaeda in Iraq and gave $650,000 to the terrorists in Fallaujah.

In the letter, they also warn the residents to expect a much larger crowd next Friday because of the 'antiwar' rally.

Code Pink closes the letter by accusing us of "disrupting the quiet" of the neighborhood because we "often yell and raise (our) voices in anger" at Code Pink.

Code Pink then tells the residents, "Please know that you can contact the Washington DC Police Department to ask that peace and quiet be restored."

Unfortunately for Code Pink, the D.C. noise ordinance doesn't apply until 10 p.m. Being that we have a demonstration permit and only use our unamplified voices to direct our comments across the street, our activities fall under First Amendment protections.

Also, out of respect for the neighbors, we keep it down after 9 p.m. (One of the two corners we stand at is in front of the end of a block of row houses. The other corner is in front of a parking lot for a church that doesn't hold services Friday evenings.)

Code Pink, of course, cares nothing for the 'quiet' of the soldiers and their families as they try to put their lives together at Walter Reed. They care only about lowering morale and trying to bring about the defeat of America in the war.

Code Pink can't beat Freepers mano a mano, so they tried a sneaky trick to get us run off by the police.

It is worth noting that yet again a Code Pinko came across the street and tried to start a fight. The 'man' chickened out and went back to his corner when bmwcyle informed him that the police had told us to call them if any of the Code Pinkos came across the street to harrass us.

those darn freepers.... you scrub and scrub but you still can't get rid of them...

in my attendance to the double freep glorious weeks of outnumbering code pink ago... i noticed one of the code pinkies crossing the street and entering one of the rowhouse south of our corner... must be disturbing for her to have freedom less than a bloc away from where she lives.

teeman

ps- cops should be called every time they hang a banner... if they don't have the numbers to hold it, the taxpayers via the wrmc property shouldn't support their anti-support pieces of ****.

blessed be the dc freepers, they shall inherit the wrath of gall murphy.

"Anti-war" = Pro-terror

Merely a more specific instance of "anti-war" = pro-war. "Anti-war" movements have always been warmongers, whether by conscious intent or air-headed fecklessness. In my lifetime, at any rate, they have always and only had the effect of making wars more likely, extending their length, and amplifying their misery.

The rosters of speakers at the "peace" rallies held in Washington, New York and San Francisco before the Iraq war were peppered with literal warmongers: representatives of (at least the "political wings" of) insurgency movements actively fighting wars in places like Columbia, Palestine/Israel, The Philippines, and attempting to foment insurgent war in many other places, e.g. Puerto Rico. No speaker who might oppose these wars -- wars waged against liberal or liberalizing democracies, or against governments friendly to the free world -- would be permitted to approach the microphone at these "peace" rallies. No speaker would ever think of asking the narco-terrorists of Columbia's FARC to put down their arms, let alone the mass-murdering insurgents fighting the democratically elected government of Iraq. In fact anyone supporting the peace process in Palestine (i.e. a two-state solution) was specifically prohibited from speaking at the "peace" rallies.

The "anti-war" crowd only appears to be specifically "pro-terror" because terrorism is a prominent tactic of the anti-democratic, anti-liberal, insurgent warriors and warmongers who they support. Don't be fooled, however, because they'll still support 'em if they jump into tanks and wage "conventional" war, and do still support 'em where they hold the power of the state, as in North Korea, Venezuela, Iraq under Saddam, and etc.

What it comes down to is that they hate -- and desire to see destroyed -- the free and liberal society because it falsifies their Utopian notions of "social justice".

"Code Pink Stinks."

:)

Should I bring discount coupons for soap to give to them or would that be too suggestive?

Here's an example. One of many. This one from Cambodia:

They don' t tell them that Code Pink endorsed Al Qaeda in Iraq and gave $650,000 to the terrorists in Fallaujah.

So basically Cindys friends and supporters financed Caseys murder. And since she is supporting them, then she herself is an accomplice after the fact. She should be haunted by her actions for the rest of her life.

I think they fear soap or dislike it rather than not have access to it. They are well-funded so maybe you could keep your coupons for someone who deserves consideration.

Indeed.

I came a little late and decided to walk on the Walter Reed side to get to the freeper protest. That meant I had to walk right through the Code Pink crowd. I figured I could just see their signs, say nothing, and slip over to the right side of the street (In every meaning of the word "right".)

However, I was wearing a "commies aren't cool" t-shirt, which featured a picture of Che with the line through it and the circle, suggesting that Che should be banned.

One of them asked if I was there to join them. She then saw my t-shirt and said "you're on the wrong side of the street." People started getting angry tones in their voice. One said "what's a commie?" That was bait for an argument, but I chose not to take it.

It's interesting they got so offended about a t-shirt that attacks a mass murderer like Che.

Very encouraging. It looks like the pressure of the FReeper counter-protest is really getting on their nerves. We just need to keep it up, and one of these Friday nights, we're going to get there and find zero pinko's. Hope I can be there for that one.

This all boils down to their fear that the Bush administration is going to take away their "right" to have an abortion by appointing "originalists" to the Supreme Court. Nothing more. That's all this is about. Abortions.

I would tend to disagree. While abortion is part of it, it's much larger than that. They have a vision, similar if not identical to that of such visionaries as Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Trotsky, of what they want society to become. The Constitution of the United States stands in the way of achieving that vision, if it is enforced. That's the prime job of the courts, particularly the appeals courts and the Supreme Court.

They haven't been able to even get much of their agenda passed by the people or their representatives but have gotten much of it passed by the courts, through distortion and outright reversal of the meanings of the provisions of the Constitution. If the Supreme Court and lower courts become staffed with those who would enforce the original meaning of the Constitution, the agenda of the Code Pinkos, MoveOn.orgs and their ilk will take major hits.

Thanks for all the information on Medea Benjamin. It sounds to me like she has an "enriched corporate backer" in her family connections that allow her to roam the world for all of her causes.
