Federal officials appear to be seeking proof to blame the flood of New Orleans on environmental groups, documents show.
The Clarion-Ledger has obtained a copy of an internal e-mail the U.S. Department of Justice sent out this week to various U.S. attorneys' offices: "Has your district defended any cases on behalf of the (U.S.) Army Corps of Engineers against claims brought by environmental groups seeking to block or otherwise impede the Corps work on the levees protecting New Orleans? If so, please describe the case and the outcome of the litigation."

The environazis prevented maintenance on the levees around Sacramento, adding to the problems which led to the ruptures in the past ten years. I seem to remember 86,000 acres being flooded in 1996 or so.
The levees were full of holes from the ground gophers, and the environazis wouldn't let them get shot or otherwise dispatched. Finally, all there was was holes, and then some GREAT BIG holes.
If it was YOUR property that was under water, who would YOU blame?
I hope Bush has the cojones to stay on topic with this data, and shove it down the throats of the environazis.

The real reason for flood damage is starting to show ~ ping!
Maybe THEY are going to be sued into paying for damages??? (Okay, I can dream).
Bingo!
Bump!
Finally! It's AMERICA'S turn to stick it to the environazis. I was wondering if we were ever going to get the ball.
Excellent!
It is too bad that article doesn't state where the money that was funded to them was diverted - and who diverted it.
Very interesting. I hadn't thought of this.
