Looking at her overall performance and actiivities, she seems emotionally and mentally unstable and in need of help. Very frequently people who are really messed up blame others -- even the elevator operator -- instead of looking at why they're so mad, messed up, unable to cope, etc. I think the root is her own problems, and the fruit is her son's death that pushed her over the edge.
