What is Jesse Jackson doing for his people. I don't see him or his Rainbow push coalition doing anything for his OWN people! This man should be running in with his millions he has extorted out of American businesses to help out his fellow black man, but he won't because he likes his cage he's put himself in.
The cage of blaming the white man for all the black mans problems.

And why are virtually all of the relief volunteers - not those in uniform - white?

How would those in the government even know what races were not evacuated?
Do they have ESP? Plenty of white folks were in need.

I believe it is the same attitude that Robert Mugabe has used against whites in Zimbabwe.
Mugabe has destroyed that country and Jessie and his ilk will destroy this one if given the opportunity.

Jesse Jackson will not put his money where is mouth is and really help out his people because he has capitalized on the poor black mans' plight. He is sick in the head.

Good post. Clarence Page was on O'Reilly last night. He quoted statistics about African Americans saying that "in the 1960s, 60% lived below the poverty line. Now only 25% do." Still too many but great gains and shows the industriousness (I'm paraphrasing here) of the people.
Could be greater still, but I believe there is a certain group of people black and white bent on keeping African Americans down and it's not conservatives. We want them to make money so they vote Republican! ; )

"Whether liberals know it or not, they are caricatures of themselves."Good quote that bears repeating.Libs are the real racists here. Most of us are working together(regardless of color)to help the victims of Katrina, whereas the msm/liberal agenda is to divide and destroy.

As of September 11, they had donated at least $788 million to Katrina charitiesThis does not count contributions of time and money by communities throughout the country who organized convoys of trucks full of donated supplies. The dollar value of this kind of assistance will never be known, but it is surely substantial.

Sharpton was spewing the same stuff on another late-late show.

Moseley-Braun is a poster child for affirmative action at its worst. She was elected to the Senate only because of her race. And she embarrassed the State of Illinois in her actions. She is a shameless huckster, in the tradition of two other black thiefs - Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

No but hell no.
It really disturbs me the number of white news people who have turned on their white audiences.
What disturbs me even more than that is the number of middle income whites that accept responsibility and the criticism as the gospel truth.
The truth that they are the root cause for blacks being poor.

People like Jackson and his clowns love to jump on the race train EVERY time they want attention. America rallied in to help with food, donations and homes for these lazy bastards who thrive on welfare. We, as taxpayers, DO NOT OWE them a damn thing. Our people from back in the biblical days were enslaved too. He, as a Reverend, should know this. Do we use this as an excuse to bilk the money out of America? No. Do we use this as an excuse to steal? No. How a frigging Hurricane can be deemed as racist is so stupid it is beyond belief. If that is all these black activists are seeing, then they are even more stupid than we once thought.
