Must be your TV. It shows up quite well on this TV near the computer. Two entirely shades of blue.

I agree. I could not figure out what it was that was making his head look so big.

Poverty has roots with racial discrimination. So we'll rise above the legacy of inequality.
There will be new businesses, including minority owned businesses.
More families should own, not rent.
Local people should be prepared for the jobs being created.

I'm not liking the background one little bit.
Not good planning by the media people on his staff for such a big speech.
And the camera angle on FNC isn't particularly complimentary. I'd think I'm watching CBS or something..

Deep insistent poverty in the N.O. area. New businesses, including minority businesses. Many new houses which should be owned, not rented.

Agreed. Especially considering what he has had to deal with more so than Reagan. Without a doubt President GWB has had to deal with as much as any President since WWII (with Reagan being right there with him) -
GWB has been a great CIC and President - A true leader -
With that said, I do feel that he has been off with regard to Katrina - In that he is making the Federal Gov't our "daddy" and that when natural events take place and things go wrong.....we are now supposed to feel like we can cry to daddy (Federal Gov't) and all should and will be taken care of -
I think this is setting a terrible precedent.

Apparently the clock on the church is not working (probably due to lack of power).
They are in a different time zone...............duh
