Exactly! Roberts is the real deal. No pretense whatsoever.

***Roberts would clean THE SHE-DEVIL's clock!! WHAT A DREAM!***

Rose, I'm disappointed in you...calling a U.S. Senator a she-devil. REALLY! What makes you think Hitlery is a "she"?

"President Bush appointed the Inspector General, who has a history in prosecuting White Collar crimes, to oversee that operation."

Now I feel a little relieved...he prosecutes but how's his conviction record. What is his name?

Looking at annual federal budget deficits over the past 25 years - he's right.

Reagan's deficits brought down the Soviet Union.

Bush's deficits have contributed to the freedom of 50 million Muslims.

What did the Democrat deficits produce? Poverty and dependency.

Can we get school choice, faith based charities, and a large enterprise zone for New Orleans instead of repeating the same old failed policies of the past.

Those would be good things.

Do the whiners realize that all the rebuilding and cleaning up is going to stimulate jobs? I don't think so. Working people pay taxes and buy stuff, people need to make the stuff they want to buy. Or am I crazy?

I wouldn't call you crazy, but please consider this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broken_window_fallacy

Here's an excerpt:

"The fallacy of the onlookers' argument is that they considered the positive benefits of purchasing a new window, but they ignored the hidden costs to the shopkeeper and others. He was forced to spend his money on a new window, and therefore could not have spent it on something else. Perhaps he was going to buy bread, benefitting the baker, who would then have bought shoes, etc., but instead he was forced to buy a window. Instead of a window and bread, he had only a window. Or perhaps he would have bought a new shirt, benefitting the tailor; in that case the glazier's gain was the tailor's loss, and again the shopkeeper has only a window instead of a window and a shirt. The child did not bring any net benefit to the town. Instead, he made the town poorer by the value of one window."

C-Span got nothing posted

#####

Why am I not surprised? Oh, a sudden power outage extends to the person responsible for updating the CSPAN schedule, and the President's speech is impromptu!

No?

Looking at annual federal budget deficits over the past 25 years - he's right.

And who is responsible for the revenues...certainly not the Democrats.

I know this is a stupid question... but when Koppel goes on air and lies like he is doing right now... does his conscience hurt him... Is he able to look at himself in the mirror the next day.

My guess is that they expect to get government money to rehabilitate the area.

About 70% of the people are renters. Landlords shouldn't do as well with the Government.
