Roberts: Day Four Set to Begin
On Thursday, the members of the Senate Judiciary Cmte. continue with a third round of questioning. Then six different panels of out- side witnesses deliver their views on the professional and personal suitability of John Roberts to be appointed Chief Justice of the United States. This testimony will take the entire day.

I agree it's been abused, I have a 66 yr old sister confined to a wheel since the age of 9, she has never felt challenged or felt humiliation!
Question how did Tommy Goodwin end up in the chair? The cops shoot him? I am confused. Was Roberts a lawyer in this case?

The woman just siad that she is no expert on John Roberts. So what is she doing as the witness during this hearing?
This is the best they could find? She opposes him because of what he might do (that he gives no evidence of).

Well you should ask. Is any person who has a grievance of any kind against society or God or the U.S. government allowed to show up and blather and whine about their grievances, and we're supposed to hold it against John Roberts?
You're right. Finding another nominee smarter than the committee members shouldn't be difficult. God help us if it is. They've really shown their lack of intellectual ability this week. But finding one brighter than Judge Roberts could be a daunting task indeed. And one who communicates so easily and well. He's really good. A quote by Joe Biden I believe.
Clearly, she has no business testifying. She's just reading a script. Such a sham.

Does she have a point I missed when Court TV cut out? All I got is that Roberts thinks the ADA should cover only the truly disabled. And her point is?
All of them read from a script - some (repubs) were better than others. OBTW, it was obvious to be that Kennedy had set up the question to the one woman (can't remember who), who then read her answer FROM THE NOTES!!! Pretty obvious.....
I'd like to testify -- that I have never seen such rude, obnoxious behavior -- that democrats ought to be ashamed.
