Roberts: Day Four Set to Begin
On Thursday, the members of the Senate Judiciary Cmte. continue with a third round of questioning. Then six different panels of out- side witnesses deliver their views on the professional and personal suitability of John Roberts to be appointed Chief Justice of the United States. This testimony will take the entire day.

I feel sick. MSNBC just played someone who says that Judge Roberts has not distanced himself from the anti-civil rights group on the far right (or words to that effect). It was DISGUSTING.
I wish I got C-Span3 and could have kept up better with the hearings.

I can get it on the computer, but I haven't been able to stick by the computer for most of the day. It's only being shown on C-Span3 and we don't get that channel.
Just read Lindsey Graham's statement from this morning. What a fantastic statement! My respect for him has increased a lot.
I absolutely cannot imagine sitting calmly in the room while being accused of being a racist. Despicable. Disgusting.
I've heard relatively little of today's testimony and maybe that's a good thing because I could literally get sick just listening to the accusations being hurled at Roberts.
Is Robert's still there? I thought he left after he completed his testimony?

Thanks. I am not a lawyer but was a Political Science major in college, as well my daughter was. A nephew is a lawyer but chases the ambulance quite regular.
History, politics, and the law have always been favorite subjects of mine and I try never to miss a great lesson.
I think these hearings have been one for the ages. I would not have missed them for anything. I'm retired so my schedule was and is very, very flexible.

Thanks; I've listened via computer a few times today. That's only good for when I'm actually near the study. If I had C-Span3 on my cable, I could listen to the testimony in nearly any room in the house or even outside because we have an outlet on the veranda.
They are just trolling for donations, and they can justify that"They Tried".....
This didn't turn out to be the much-needed DEM/LIB Donat-a-Thon that they hoped it would be....
