Thanks for this thread and for supporting the effort to modify this Memorial.

I agree with you that it is totally inappropriate to honor the heroism of those on Flight 93 with a crescent symbol.

I visited the Shanksville site last October and was moved to tears and filled with pride at the magnitude of their sacrifice on 9-11-01.

Regardless of whether the families accept this 'Crescent of Embrace'....all Americans are paying for the National Memorial so we need to make our voices heard!
