He vetoed it in Texas, as I recall.

I don't think Bush will sign anything like that.

I didn't think a Pubbie-led House would pass it either.

You're kidding, right? Since when has GW found his veto pen?

Here is a list of all the bills our President has vetoed since elected the first time.

No problemo. This certainly violates the equal protection clause - therefore the SC will invalidate the law!

I'll go on record as disagreeing with you.

I approve of the Presidents actions most of the time, but he doesn't have the political guts to veto this.

If this passes the senate, and it will, he'll sign it.

Where have you been for five years? Bush doesn't know how to veto. The word isn't even in his vocabulary.

I didn't think he'd sign the Campaign Finance fiasco either. But here we are.

Haha. Dream on. They attached this to a sex offender bill. Bush will sign it. Tom Delay and the Pretenders fail us yet again. Thanks to this so-called "Conservative Congress" our borders are wide open to Al Queda, we are spending like drunken sailors, and now preachers reading about "abomination" will be brought up on charges.

This sounds like that if he doesnt sign it, he will be called a gay basher...what a decision to make...to sign a worthless piece of legislation, or to veto it and face the wrath of the left (well...no matter what...he will get accused of hating gays)
