End of the Bush Era (Barf Alert)
Washington Compost ^ | September 13, 2005 | E. J. Dionne

Posted on 09/14/2005 6:17:56 AM PDT by minerboy

The Bush Era is over. The sooner politicians in both parties realize that, the better for them -- and the country.

Recent months, and especially the past two weeks, have brought home to a steadily growing majority of Americans the truth that President Bush's government doesn't work. His policies are failing, his approach to leadership is detached and self-indulgent, his way of politics has produced a divided, angry and dysfunctional public square. We dare not go on like this.

How to piss of a liberal:

1) Bush is there for 3 more years!
2) You can't impeach him while your party is in the minority.
3) If you do what do you get? Cheney! (HALIBURTON! HALIBURTON! HALIBURTON! HALIBURTON! HALIBURTON! HALIBURTON! HALIBURTON! HALIBURTON! BIG OIL! BIG OIL! BIG OIL! BIG OIL! BIG OIL! BIG OIL!)

Sorry E. J. Dionne....the country became divided when clintin was in the white house. You know, the good time President. Rock and Roll an boxers or briefs....that guy. Oh and yes, let's not forget the most important of the honorable things he didn't do. MONICA, MONICA, MONICA, MONICA, MONICA, MONICA, MONICA, MONICA, MONICA, MONICA!

both clintins were 60's leftovers. Both had their own selfish agendas. He loved to romp and fiddle in the oval office and she didn't care. She jsut wanted to hang onto the power.

Sorry Mr. Dionne...the clintins are responsible for a lot of damage done to this country and they always will be. He was not a responsible President. He thought the White House was his own persoinal playground for inappropriate activites with interns.

hillereee was just surrounded by what she loves the most in this life and that is POWER, POWER, POWER.

President Bush is doing fine and will continue to do fine Mr. Dionne. Point your vile finger where it belongs at the clintins...both of them. The United States can thank that nasty duo for the way it is today.

clintin...the worst President in our history. Bar None!

If Dionne is correct, then the Democrats will filibuster against John Roberts when the Senate Judiciary Committee passes him to the floor for confirmation, and the filibuster will be successful on a party line basis. I'd like to make a bet with Mr. Dionne about the Roberts confirmation, but I think even Mr. Dionne knows better than that.

In other words, Mr. Dionne knows his editorial is a crock, but he had it published anyway. He is, therefore, giving us a view into his fantasies. I'm not too sure I want to know much more about Mr. Dionne's fantasies, as these are scary enough.

LOL...if his policies don't work, why was the pre-Katrina unemployment level at it's lowest point in 25 years? Clinton polocies sure didn't do that. Why the heartfelt gratitude and praise from Iraqi president Talabani? Why the WMD capitulation from Lybia or Lebonese elections?

We never heard the Iraqi people thanking Clinton for Blood for Oil Vouchers or the relatives reduced to wet confetti by Saddam's plastic shredders.

You never heard ANYTHING from Quadaffi (who ALSO paid Pali terrorists to blow up little Jewish kids) except for some complaints about how he was framed for the airline bombing and Khomeini=Good, US=bad while he quietly developed a WMD program that the Clinton UN crowd MUST have been aware of and ignored, or where would President Bush have gotten the leverage to get the confession/concession in fh the first place?

"Muslims terrorists attack us and the President is divisive because he leads the counter strike.

"A hurricane devastates us and the President is divisive because the Federal response is faster than it was for either Hugo or Andrew."

And the president is divisive for cutting ALL Americans' taxes, and that his appointment of two black Americans (one of whom is a woman) to two of the highest cabinet positions in the land for the first time in US history only proves he's a racist.

Its amazing to watch how the liberals at the MSM can't face reality that the later 60's and 70's are over and the nation have moved in a conservative way since then.

These reporters are the captains of the Titanic locked in the wheel house, and after they hit the iceburg, they reverse the boat, and ram into it over and over again, while the majority of the passengers are yelling at him to stop.

I cannot believe the crap they write these days and try to pass off as facts. It goes against all sense of what is really going on around them. They have let their opinions blind them to everything else. And the more they are wrong, the more insanely outrageous claims they make.

Its like they write this stuff just to re-inforce their own delusional state of mind.

It is not the "Bush Era", Dianne, it is the 9/11 Epoch, and it is far from over. Think about that when you lose in '08, '12, '16...

Can you explain, then, why you posted this same absurd article two days in a row?

I'm open for a reasonable explanation. No conclusions have been drawn....

(One can post disingenously, you know. Your previous posts in only one month on this forum don't necessarily reveal who you really are).

Okay, you have demonstrated to me that you are either disinclined, or unable for some reason to view my previous posts and replies. If you had, you would have seen that I did NOT post this article prior to today when I first viewed it. Yesterday's post of this article was conducted by Johnny7.

According to your bio, you are an adjunct professor, so I imagine that you know a thing or two about conducting research.

So, if you do feel inclined, take a few minutes to read my posts and my replies and then draw your own conclusion about my viewpoints.

Have a good day.
