You're an inspiration, Bob! What direction are you coming from? (Just curious)
I don't know what your definition of high-class is, but I've had good luck with Hiltons. This one is about a 10-minute drive from Walter Reed. Or if you're more interested in staying downtown, there are a bunch of upscale hotels. Here's just one closer to downtown.

Coming from Michigan, will pick one of the Hotels near Walter Reed. Will let you know when I get Reservation so communication can commence.

I thought it was some weirdo pervert at first and didn't bother with it until someone pinged me. I almost didn't read it even then.

You do not have to be in DC to show support for the Troops.
Visit your local military base today and at least once a week.
Or a military or veteran hospital.
If you can't do that then send an e-mail or packeage
to our troops for morale support.

Dear Service Person
I don't know your name BUT I do know who you are.
YOU are a true Patriot and a Defender of our Freedom at home.
You choose to enlist when you did not have to.
You choose to put your life in harms way for us.
Know that at home there are millions upon millions
of people supporting YOU and your Brother and Sisters.
We will be waiting for YOU when you return.
May God watch over you and your Brothers and Sisters
in the military, no matter where they are stationed
or their job description.
Thank You for your service to our country.
Thank You for Standing the Watch.

And now a word from our real Sponsors of Free Speech
The Men and Women who serve,
and have served, our country
are the ones who make sure that
the Politicans and Judges are free to do their job.
We would not have a US Supreme Court
without the protection of the Military.
Politicans and Judges are safe
because of the Military who protect them.
TEST : Call your Senator or Congressman's office
AFTER 5 PM, or on the weekend.
IF you speak to an actual person, ask who's in charge today?
Now look up the phone number
of your local military base.
Call that number 24/7
and ask the live voice you get
to speak with the person in charge.
PS The US Supreme Court is only "open"
from the 1st Monday of October and typically continue
until late June or early July of each year.
Send a Thank You while you enjoy your Freedom also.
Click on a service emblem to send an online
Thank You to a service man or woman in any branch.
