A Navy Seabee, right, throws a piece of rubble onto a pile while President Bush tours the grounds of 28th Street Elementary School in Gulfport, Miss., on Monday.

Gotta love those Seabees, where they follow, he'll lead.

Oregon Army National Guard soldiers gather on a street corner while conducting search operations in New Orleans’ 9th Ward on Monday. Rescue and clean-up efforts continue in the areas hit by Hurricane Katrina two weeks after the deadly storm hit.

You should have seen the sights at Water Street!

Members of the Air Force’s VX-1 Squadron help a Hurricane Katrina evacuee board a helicopter headed for the airport at the convention center in New Orleans on Tuesday.

How much more help can one expect after a real smooth shave?

Pvt. 1st Class Brandon Jones of C Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Field Artillery, gives his 8-month-old son, Jordan, a farewell kiss at a deployment ceremony at Fort Sill, Okla. on Tuesday. The unit will be serving as an M-915 truck company in support of the 180th Transportation Battalion in Iraq.

Army Maj. Timothy A. Doherty of the Georgia Army National Guard's 148th Medical Co., lifts an elderly man through an opening in the roof of a school building in New Orleans, La. on Sunday 4 Sept. 2005.

Some folks feel that the requirements for graduating High School in Louisiana have become simply too strict in recent years.

Eric Fitzgerald, with the Navy, cools down by pouring water on his head as sailors from the USS Iwo Jima clean up the Episcopal Redeemer Church site in Biloxi, Miss., on Sunday.

Some folks said that the Navy was tough even before you had to bring your own bottled water.

Maj. Devin Young, a Staff Judge Advocate, briefs Marines from the 1st Battalion, 8th Marines, part of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force Katrina, on the rules of using force before they start their mission in the area of operations at Stennis Space Center Airfield, Miss.

All Marines are constrained from using the Force until after at least one Jedi Knight has been assaulted!

President George W. Bushand first lady Laura Bush depart the White House in Washington September 13, 2005. Bush is on his way to New York City, where he will attend a session at the United Nations with Iraq's President Jalal Talabani.

There is nothing wrong with your television set. There is nothing wrong with your computer. They control the horizontal. They control the vertical, you will not see such images on your regularly broadcast news programs.

The Lebanese employer of a drinks distributor taken hostage in Iraq announced that his firm had ceased trading there in line with the kidnappers' demands.

No Coronas? What is next no limes?

Sunset is seen over a fully evacuated Superdome stadium, where thousands of people stayed while waiting to be evacuated after Hurricane Katrina hit, in New Orleans Monday, Sept 12, 2005. U.S. President George W. Bush, on a tour of devastated New Orleans on Monday, rejected charges the government was slow to respond to Hurricane Katrina because most of the victims were black or because the nation's military was over-extended in Iraq. Hurricane Katrina hit the region on August 29 causing numerous deaths and severe property damage in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Excuse me Mr. AP Caption writer, but you neglected to mention that the New Orleans Saints are still undefeated in the 2005 season, jerkoff!

This week  - today, actually , will be the last communication from me for a while.

I have been forced into a position I do not like, ]

and have had to make choices I

never wanted to make again.

But - that's life.

The only thing we can count on is Change.

The sun will rise again another day, babies will be born,

people will pass on,

and taxes will still have to be paid.

My farewell to you all - Canteeners and Soldiers

I hold so dear -

is one of Allegiance and Love.

I may be gone for a long while,

But my heart will always be here - with the ones I have come to love so much,

And above all -

Know my support for the Troops and our President will not waver.

I am, and always will be -

A FReeper .

Love in Christ,

Just Kimberly
