I hope that we can get a transcript of Talabani's remarks. He repeated over and over "Thank you President Bush" with tears in his eyes. Gave me chills and made me so proud!
IBTZ?
cubies need to know...
And why would this be zot worthy?
Keep the reporting coming for those of us sans TV.
"to those in America that ask if war of liberation was right, please come to Iraq and see what happened to the Iraqi people and see Iraq now"
"To the terrorists - you will never win. Freedom will win"
YES, when a transcript becomes available, it must be posted . . . Talabani was BEYOND profuse is his praise of and thankfulness to President George W Bush, a TRANSFORMATIONAL American president!!!
some dumb nut reporter asked about Katrina...
Talabani's comments should be posted on EVERY CONSERVATIVE SITE. Absolutely incredible!!!
Yep! .. the Libs ain't gonna like what the PM just said
Do ya think they'll take him up on the offer to visit Iraq and all the mass graves of people the Saddam had murdered?
The caption threw me for a loop at first. I thought it said "Bush says Taliban stood up against brutal dictator."
Well, Fox going to Roberts, guess I gotta switch to MSNBC.
this statement is the death knell of liberalism. That is why they cannot advance their arguements predicated on their idiology since it is bankrupt, racist and above all contrary to the prevailing desire of all all, the desire to be free from tyranny.
"YES, when a transcript becomes available, it must be posted . . . Talabani was BEYOND profuse is his praise of and thankfulness to President George W Bush, a TRANSFORMATIONAL American president!!!"
If you get it first Dr. please ping me, I am trying to watch and work at the same time. Impossible.
Unfortunately, the only thing that CNN and Blitzer took away from the press conference was that Bush finally took "full" responsibility for the aftermath of Katrina. These people are just amazing.
huh??? Oh good grief!!!
I hate liberals!
Well, that is what the President said, at least when talking about failures on the federal level.
Is this true?
President Bush taking blame for Katrina response
That's not the point. The president (both of the US and Iraq) said alot of important things that CNN decided to ignore because it didn't advance their agenda. After Blitzers Katrina comments, they immediately went to Ted Kennedy without acknowledging any of the other relevant facts from the press-conference.
Went to see if a transcrip or quotes could be found, yet. No luck, so I resorted to CNN.com---only reference is bold red headline--BREAKING NEWS President Bush says he takes responsibility for the federal government's failures in responding to Hurricane Katrina. Details soon!---laugh, cry or put my fist through the monitor?--I choose laugh.
