I LOVE your tagline!
Our families special bovines are now in a pasture just about 100 yards from our house and I really, really enjoy being able to look out the window at them. I'm trying to get mr.h to build pens in front of our home so next year they'll be even closer!
MOO to you too!
:-)
Very good thoughts! If only ALL "managers" had that attitude . . .
Hi Oz. G'day to you, also. Another rescued dog, and one that already has a new home. Yipppeeeee!!!! Thanks for making me happy. I loved seeing the pics of GWB greeting Louie and Gary Garwood. We all know how the President loves dogs. By the looks of it, meeting Louie made him happy, too.
I second every word of that post!
RE: Brit and Juan . . . it ALWAYS makes my day to see Juan get smacked down, esp. by Brit!
Yes, and I'm so grateful to ThePythonicCow for taking the steps necessary to archive it, plus he created the .zip file for anyone who wants to download the whole thread.
We FReepers make a great team sometimes.
Its a horrible dilemma - I have no children myself but I have 6 small chihuahuas who are part of my family - I would hate to be presented with a situation where I would have to leave them behind. I am not sure whether I could leave them as they really do depend on me and my hubby (they are spoilt rotten!). I pray that I am never in that position and I also pray for all those pet owners out there who have had to leave their pets behind in such dire circumstances.
They are opening the airport for commerical flights tomorrow according to FNC
It was a wonderful thing for him to do! I need to click onto the thread and save that zip file or the website. It might be useful down the line!
years ago Hubby and I went to NO.We took a tour and loved the Antebellum (?) homes. I haven't seen any pictures of them, do you know if they survived?
WOW! GREAT! Last I heard it was going to be the 19th.
RE: The President and his "lucky" blue shirt . . .
I know I always feel lucky when I see him in it--LOL!
Thanks. All I can say is that I have had some very "hard to work for" bosses in my life who I owe a great deal.
Now they are some of the best friends, and mentors, I could ask for. But not back then!
Powell not getting asked to stay on was his own fault. He leaked info out of the state department and even on occassion stated policy he knew fully well was not the president's position. What would happen if we did that at our jobs??? We would be fired. He did not not deserve the job for a second term. What did he expect the President to do? Put up with his ignoring the President's orders???
The movie was very hard to watch..and I didn't cry until they showed the families driving up to the crash site in big buses....and the police were lining the road at attention, and saluting the families...
I lost it right then...
Yes. The hysterics of the MSM, black activists, NO and Louisiana city and state officials, and Dem opportunists notwithstanding, the situation is nowhere near as dire as they have tried to portray. Mother Nature is going to slap us humans around from time to time. We are not as all-powerful as we sometimes like to fool ourselves into believing we are.
I just finished watching Flight 93...It was very hard to watch and almost turned it off several times...but thanks to the freepers on the live thread I was able to watch it through...please watch the replay at 10pm central......This was the first victory on the WOT
