Hi Oz. G'day to you, also. Another rescued dog, and one that already has a new home. Yipppeeeee!!!! Thanks for making me happy. I loved seeing the pics of GWB greeting Louie and Gary Garwood. We all know how the President loves dogs. By the looks of it, meeting Louie made him happy, too.

(NOTE TO MSM: Each state is sovereign over its own territory. GWB is NOT king of the U.S.)

Wow! What a fantastic job you did on your Katrina pictorial thread. Thank you for all your hard work. I would say that I have not seen at least 60% of those pictures. It is very moving.
years ago Hubby and I went to NO.We took a tour and loved the Antebellum (?) homes. I haven't seen any pictures of them, do you know if they survived?

I thought you might like those pix! Do you remember that wonderful picture with the President and the rescue dog from Ground Zero - the President was holding the dogs paw like he was shaking his hand. I wish I could find it; I know I have a printed copy at home.
I was busy crying my eyes out last night when I was watching the news with a fellow who was reunited with his two dogs (chihuahuas) in NO. Whilst the human tragedy is horrific my heart aches so much for all the furry friends left behind.
