WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger was sentenced Thursday to community service and probation and fined $50,000 for illegally removing highly classified documents from the National Archives and intentionally destroying some of them.

Berger must perform 100 hours of community service and pay the fine as well as $6,905 for the administrative costs of his two-year probation, a district court judge ruled.

"I deeply regret the actions that I took at the National Archives two years ago, and I accept the judgment of the court," Berger said outside the courthouse after his sentencing.

Burglar should be rotting in jail until he tells the U.S. what documents were stolen, what was written on them that was so important to destroy, and whether there was a conspiracy with other Clintonistas.

He should also have his security clearance removed permanently.

------
My take is that our "authorities" know that information and are HIDING IT from the public, like much of the evidence in the JFK killing was for over 20 years. Washington is protecting itself. If the American public knew what Washington knows about what Burglar took and what information is there, it would most likely be a MAJOR political disaster for Washington...and would probably serve to wake even ignorant Americans, up! All you have to do is apply a little logic to what we know, and reality pops right out -- if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and walks like a duck, well ------

His 100 hours of community service probably includes his categorizing top secret documents at the National Archives. Stranger things have happened.

The Court has ruled that "classification" is an Executive matter. The President is the ultimate grantor of access to classified information. Berger should be denied access to classified information. Let Berger do whatever he wishes to turn that around.....and the powers of evil can once again "BLAME BUSH".

Why on earth would Sandy need top secret clearance in the future anyway? He is not a government employee.

"And who knows what they will have him due for his 100 hours of community service."

Working as night janitor sweeping the floors and dusting the cabinets in the National Security Archives, of course. Only this time he'll have his own keys and nobody around to inquire about his expanding waistline and swollen ankles.

When my X girlfriend's dog bit someone, the county took
all SIX of her dogs and killed everyone, then she had to
do SIX HUNDRED HOURS of community service.
Since she was a veteranary tech, she was put to work
EUTHANIZING DOGS at the pound!!

Sandy Berger should be put aboard the scummiest bumboat
the navy has and never allowed to touch land AGAIN!
