God Bless You.
This restores my faith in Italy.
Regards,
Rocko
ALA FAMILIA!
Thank you, Italian friend. Be of good cheer, we'll prevail. Goodness defeats evil every time.
I too am an Italian-American, and proud to know that many of the people back in the "Old Country" think the way you do.
Your English does not matter -- what counts is your ability to express your thoughts and feelings, which are beautiful!
Will you marry me?
I'm stunned. Io ho trascorso un po di tempo da voi.
Italy has a huge problem not just with the press but with the very institution of journalism. In 2001, when Italy voted against the United States for a position on the Human Rights Commission of the United Nations and instead for China (!), the Italian media said not one single word about it. Italians say that the press belongs to Berlusconi, but this puttanata was committed by Massimo D'Alema. It the institution of journalism had been viable, this should've been all over. It wasn't. I read Il Corriere, Il Sole 24 ore, Il Manifesto, La Repubblica, La Stampa, La Nazione everyday for 3 months following this event.
I don't read the Italian newspapers, of course, because it makes more sense to read used toilet paper. Recent example - 14 yr. old Louisiana girl on vacation with the family of a friend in Florida killed in a shark attack. She and her friend were on boogie boards. Italian version: Cercava esche per la pesca a poco distanza dalla famiglia. "She was looking for bait to fish not too far from her family." As long as they were in the same galaxy, right?
So for you, an Italian, to know a few things about our President that most of us here love deeply, I'm blown away. For your ability to resist the barrage of nonsense printed in the various brands of toilet paper that pass for newspapers in Italy, I salute you.
Non ti arrendere mai.
Thank you "An Italian" we want you to come to our country any time. America is sadly a sleep because of our liberal media that perpetuates the liberal thinking that Islam is a kind and gentle religion...it is not your country has suffered too from this hate filled relgion that is a killer cult.
To all Americans wake up and denouce the Islamic wave that is covering America, we have so many pot heads left over liberals that think people are truly honest...sadly they are not, the watered down version of the Koran is in every corner of America and Americans are so gulible that it will take the people of this board and people like you in your country to open the eyes of those that can not think for themselves and especially the young that believe freedom just appaered they have no concept as to how many died and how many suffered for them and our freedoms.
Watch your children the hate filled Islamic warriors know our children are mainly stupid and without any sense of being an American I hope that is not true in Italy. Today is special but unless we make our media tell the truth we are in for a long slog but we have the most powerful force with us God...son of David and Jesus son of God at our side...Thanks "an italian" I wish you the best...

PS I sure love Ferrari's and Italian suits...
Good on ya young lady. Its never too early to understand that freedom comes with costs. God bless.
My nephew was stationed in Italy for several years when he was in the U.S. Army. He has nothing but good things to say about your country and poeple. Thanks for being our ally. We don't forget such things.
Thank you.
Many thanks for a wonderful post!
Thank you! I'm married to one of you (LOL) and Italy has a special place in our hearts.
That was wonderful, heart-felt and sweet. Thank you VERY much. :)
Sure... Will I vote in 2008 if I marry you now? Just kidding of course.
An italian,
Your english is beautiful to my eyes.
Your thoughts bring warmth and care.
Thank You
God Bless you
Non lo farò. I love too much your President, and your Country and the great idea of Freedom to surrender.
Stay strong, FRiend. I'm a good shoulder on which you can count whatever you want to.
Can we clone you? :)
Hmmm, I guess that would depend on how quickly the lawyers could get the paper through the bulletproof federal bureacracy.
They've changed the laws. Just marrying you wouldn't automatically make you a U.S. Citizen, unfortunately.
Besides, you wouldn't want me anyway --- I'm starting get old and fat...lol
