If the governor actually wished she could be there, she would have been there. I guess she was too busy trying to figure out how to blame President Bush for her incompetence.

They deserve jail but that's not going to happen. In place of that we need to make sure everyone knows having a Democrat mayor or governor is not a safe proposition. Were it one or the other the point would not work, but it was both of them who were not only incompetent then, they remain inept even today as the evacuation order is still ambiguous.
