Personally, I like women - hair color isn't an issue. The issue is getting them to like me. Eharmony gave me a three month subscribtion for the price of one - I think they did it for the entertainment value. Go there once a day to have it tell me that it can't find a match for me. Personally, I can't tell if it's an insult or a compliment.

Bob, maybe your profile (if that's what they use) needs a bit of tweaking. Did you mention that you retired at 35?

i have been happily married for 20 years and can't speak personally of online dating experiences, but i will tell you this. My daughter goes to a small school with no more than 20 faculty. of that 20, there has been one marriage and one engagement in the past MONTH, each to someone they met on match.com. i thought that was pretty impressive for that site and i haven't been on it nor heard anything else about it.

I tried eharmony, all I got was women with 3 kids(nothing wrong with that, I just dont want a pre-manufactured family right now) or neurotic blondes. I had over 40 matches my first month and I didnt like any of them, guess I am to picky. I met one woman at a Circle K(brunette) and ended up dating her while I let my eharmony account flounder.

I confess I tried their $40 personal evaluation test (perpetually free). I didn't really like most of their questions and the personality profile they came up with didn't sound like me at all. Needless to say, if they are going to base matchmaking based on a profile I don't believe is true, then I'm not going to get very far with the people they choose based on it.
