With Penn, Brinkley, and Taibbi on the boat, it should have been named the S.S. Propaganda.
As I examine the photo with Freudian lenses, I see that Mary Ann is holding a huge bunch of bananas at arm's length, in contrast to Ginger poised to take a bite out of it...this would indicate that Mary Ann really is a wholesome country girl on the inside despite her compact yet voluptuous figure, while Hollywood starlet Ginger, on the other hand...uh...er...
But they appear to be Gilligan's bananas and he has a whole bunch of em....
