INSURRECTION, NOT
New York Post Online ^ | September 9, 2005 | John Podhoretz

September 9, 2005 -- IN her "Letter from New York," published in The Washington Post, Tina Brown yesterday determined there was a "scent of insurrection" in the air here in the Big Apple in the wake of Hurricane Katrina — a spirit of revolution she seems to have discerned primarily at a screening of a 9/11 documentary at the swanky Bryant Park Hotel.

"The needless torment of New Orleans has reignited the dormant passions of the election," quoth our Tina, who has taken it upon herself to bring the Word from this city's elite to the political elite in Washington. "The big donors with wallet fatigue after Senator Kerry's loss are ready to write checks again, big time, for any Democrat who shows courage."

Just thought this was a funny commentary, although the suppositions made here just might find themselves in the world of reality for the liberal snob elite.

Guess those wallets won't be opened any time soon.

Yes, it is funny. It is like the 'Rats think that they have a good chance of defeating Bush in the next election.

Shows Courage

Shows Courage? If that means actually saying what they believe rather than trying to fool the people, I say, "BRING IT ON!!"

They are not worried about the next election.

Incredibly, I think they want to fight.

After hearing about the anti-Bush rally at the White House yesterday by a bunch of ingrates whose very lives are ruined by the idiots who refused (for the sake of the environment) to build proper levees; and, refused to create and inact an evacuation plan, I have decided that the people rescued, don't seem to be worth a da%%. Here you have them up here "victims" of a natural disaster, and they have the gall to be at the white house protesting.

Where was all this energy when it came to taking care of themselves? How come they needed to be rescued by the federal government in the first place? I have completely decided that I resent our federal monies going into taking care of these new "victims." Let them get jobs like the rest of us and let them get on with their lives like the rest of us.

It seems that everytime we have an emergency in this country the people effected are elevated to the status of "Super Victim." This status means, in effect, they have won the lottery and the government coffers are to be opened up and poured onthem. These people should have used up some of their energy saving themselves from that hurricane, and taking care of themselves, instead of whining about how they suffered. The reason they suffered is because they relied on democratic idiots to rescue them, when the idiots were out taking care of themselves and leaving them behind.

You may keep a succession of morons and liberals in office and never be totally brought up short, until the first real crisis strikes. At that time you are definitely shown what kind of leadership you have elected.

None of this is a Bush boondoggle it is totally a democratic deal. I relish a commitee being put together that will rake the city of New Orleans and the governor over the hot coals for not providing leadership for their people.

Yes Tina lets have a Revolution and you can Lead it "You are the most Revolting"!!! Trying to invent an insurrection are we? America is not blaming GW and you are having a Bitch Fit? Too bad we have the capacity for rational thought and can think for ourselves. Please Ms. Brown explain to me why the Thugs were murdering, raping, and beating folks in the Convention Center and the Superdome? What was the justification you Bitch? These Race Pimps are too self absorbed and stupid to realize that they may acutally piss off enough Generous Whites who will say... Why am I bothering to give up my Dinero to help someone who hates me?

This is literally biting the hand that is feeding you. These
idiots have proven again yet another time why they are unfit to govern or be in charge. And it is driving them Nuts that their Disinformation campaign is falling with a thud. You see the problem is they no longer control the flow of information anymore. And they cannot come to grips with that. They are still trying to pour gasoline on a bad situation.

Are we filled with an enormous sense of our own self-importance or what?

Sometimes I'm starting to think that the communist "revolutionaries" were right when the first thing they did was to kill all the university professors, "intellectuals" and "artists" when they took over. At least maybe they got some peace and quiet for a while.

Funny as hell. Man, I thought these people were just politicking--as it turns out, they really believe their own "Bush's fault" bullsh*t!

I thought that, too. If all that energy that was pored into looting, shooting, raping, and killing had been put into relief effort, the city would have been evacuated much sooner and countless lives saved.

.. the idiots who refused... to build proper levees; and, refused to create and inact [sic] an evacuation plan,

"Inact" is right, although it appears to be a typo.

They had a plan, they just didn't follow it.
