I suspect if'n it will make Harry and his brethern and sisters feel better then the President most likely will consult with them. They seem to forget that the President gathers a lot of information from various sources and then sorts it out and makes his decision. My guess is that most of their info will wind up on the cutting room floor...

I know it doesn't make any difference, but he's already nominated a replacement for O'Connor. Now he needs to fill the seat left vacant by Rehnquist's passing. The dems will angle for the slightest advantage, but, no, he does not have to replace anyone with a moderate or centrist. I'm praying for a fire-breathing originalist myself. And when the leftist Ginsburg retires next year, I hope he appoints yet another genuine fire-breathing originalist to fill her empty head, er seat, er whatever.

Let 'em give all the input they want. Then let W input his foot up their kooky rectums.

Okay, here's some input for the Dems:
YOU PEOPLE ARE FULL OF IT!!!!!

Sorry Charlies, but you are a few hundred thousand favors behind. When will it begin to dawn on them that unbridled hatred for those who hold all power over the things they care about may not be the brightest idea in history?

we really need to nominate a liberal, bi-sexual afrohispanamerican deaf dwarf with no record and a PhD from Harvard Law.

``As a woman myself, I hope it will be a woman.'' Sexist comment
Someone tell her Louisiana already has a Governor, who like her, is a woman.

I love Laura Bush, but in this instance her husband does not need this "I prefer a woman" crap. The first time she said it, it was probably a heartfelt comment. I suspect if she said it again, it was something of a signal.

The RATS have been like this since the pubs gained Majority status! I blame the pubs for NOT putting their foot down on their necks from the beginning! SCREW the bipartisan crap it doesn't work and it'll NEVER work with the RATS! Olive branch my foot!! We are in the middle of a semi-racial war and I want the pubs to fight the good fight against the RATS and win for once!! If I hear McCain and the rest of the RINO's request a close door meeting with the likes of Reid and the rest...I'LL, I'LL...OOOOOOOO I so mad!!!

I've speculated that Scalia may choose to retire before Bush's term is out. JRBrown would be the best choice to replace him.

From your mouth to Gods ears. As somebody pointed out earlier in this thread. Put somebody up, they get blocked, put somebody father towards the orignalists up next and again and again and again. How about we start with Bork just to make Senate Democrat's heads explode?

ROFLMAO!!!!
Instead of coming together to help with the Katrina disaster all the Dims do is stand around and point fingers at Bush.
Execute the Byrd Option!!! (well maybe execute is a bad word, so how about 'vote')

we really need to nominate a liberal, bi-sexual afrohispanamerican deaf dwarf with no record and a PhD from Harvard Law. Actually we need to just decide that the 200th customer to go into the Witchta Wal Mart on October 6, 2005 will be the next Supreme Court Justice. Frankly I'm sick and tired of elitist lawyers being given seats on the Supreme Court. We need to put a service station attendant or a janitor or a farmer on the bench.
