Just caught this at the end...Pelosi was being interview live on CNN, and she was spewing about the Bush failures..The CNN anchor was asking a few tough questions, interupting Pelosi, not letting the wild charges be go unchallenged, when Pelois, obviously annoyed, said "Well, why don't you quit your job ( at CNN) and got to work for the Bush White House?"
Scary! People praising Pelosi for her break down. Saying it's what they've been waiting to hear. Do these folks seriously think that this will help them in the polls? Or do they want their politicians to be foul mouthed, angery, bitter, hate-filled spewers of venom and are welcoming such a scene? If they are, why don't they just look in a mirror instead of screwing up the country.
I think Kyra made a bad career move that will be addressed as soon a her boss comes back from his Nantucket Democrat junket.
Starts at about 6:00 - at 6:45 or so, Pelosi mispronounced her name - "it's Kyra", probably on purpose. Then she spouts off about speaking for the Bush administration.
She's such as a tyrannical blowhard, wholly incapable of having any reasonable discussion of the entirety of the problems with government's response to this disaster. Nothing matters to her, not Nagin, Blanco or anything but bashing Bush.
I'd like to nominate Chuck Hagel for that role. Just 'cause he's a PITA.
The question I would have like to hear would be:
Do you think things would have been different if you hadn't run Bernard Kerick out of town on a rail after he was nominated as Homeland Security Secretary>
Those floods were bad, but a NEW Great Lake?
"Boy, does that guy suffer from delusions of grandeur."
Blanco, Nagin, Landrieu, they may all be incompetent idiots, but that guy Broussard is off the scale nuts. He's like a cartoon.
"He would be quite formidable - luckily he can never run for President."
Geez, and we just had to invent a new scale to fit Howard Dean on it!
I'm not sure I understand your response... this tyrade from Phillips was really Bush bashing, that is what I was trying to stress. She went on her own tirade about how pathetic the whole situation was but never herself brought up the role of local and state government. She basically challenged Pelosi a bit but never asked her... "Does the state/local authorities bare any blame?"
Pelosi: Hastert's impregnable job security.
As much as I hate to say so, I'm beginning to agree with you....
As the failed Ideology of Liberalism, and the Democratic Party, slide deeper and deeper into the swirling oblivion of history, the louder, more shrill, and threatening these Libs get...
I have to disagree that it was Bush bashing on Phillips' part. It was quite a lengthy interview and she emphasized that the questions about the levee system had been going on for many years and nothing was done. Pelosi looked like the loon she is.
I think she is over.
The strain is obvious. I'll bet she didn't tell us everything the Persident told her. Llike take a flying leap or GFYS or some other earthy Texas pleasantry.
I'll bet she was never in her life reamed like he reamed her in private. (and I mean like a milling machine, not like a clinton) I bet she is red for 12" up her butt.
Thanks for the link. I had CNN on earlier today and wasn't paying attention to it but heard the "pathetic" remark and caught the end of the interview. I thought I was imagining this..... Thanks again!
Too funny.....is it true?
Thanks
