Did Blanco attempt genocide at Superdome?

The Red Cross has confirmed to Fox News Channel's Major Garrett that they had requested permission to take food and medical supplies to the Louisiana Superdome in the hours immediately after Hurricane Katrina's landfall. That request was denied by none other than Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco.
Garrett appeared on Hugh Hewitt's syndicated radio program this evening to discuss the shocking revelation.
MG: Well, the Red Cross, Hugh, had pre-positioned a literal vanguard of trucks with water, food, blankets and hygiene items. They're not really big into medical response items, but those are the three biggies that we saw people at the New Orleans Superdom, and the convention center, needing most accutely. And all of us in America, I think, reasonably asked ourselves, geez. You know, I watch hurricanes all the time. And I see correspondents standing among rubble and refugees and evacuaees. But I always either see that Red Cross or Salvation Army truck nearby. Why don't I see that?HH: And the answer is?
MG: The answer is the Louisiana Department of Homeland Security, that is the state agency responsible for that state's homeland security, told the Red Cross explicitly, you cannot come.
HH: Now Major Garrett, on what day did they block the delivery? Do you know specifically?
MG: I am told by the Red Cross, immediately after the storm passed.
The Louisiana Department of Homeland Security is directly under the command and direction of Governor Kathleen Blanco. The same Kathleen Blanco who has whined and blamed the federal government from her perch in Baton Rouge throughout this entire crisis. The same Kathleen Blanco who has stared at cameras with deer-in-headlight-glazed eyes since Hurricane Katrina made landfall. The same Kathleen Blanco who, after being asked about federal help prior to landfall said, "No." The same Kathleen Blanco who rescinded Mayor Ray Nagin's order to completely evacuate the city due to dangerous conditions just today. Was Kathleen Blanco's goal the death of as many of those in the Superdome as possible?

[I somehow screwed up the attributions on the previous copy of this post, sorry.]
I find it very difficult to believe that anyone is as incompetent and stupid as Blanco has been -- even if they are a leftist. I truly wonder if there is something else going on here. The term "genocide" here is somewhat over the top, yes, I'll agree.
But there is something going on here. Something more than an incompetent woman sitting on a couch stuffing herself with bon-bons while people die in New Orleans.
You're right. Racism simply does NOT exist.
And besides, even if it DID exist, it would not be polite to point it out. POLITE people simply look the other way, and excuse the unthinkable.

She already threw the Mayor over the side The question is .. what will he do about it?
The problem for Nagin is, he's out there in the middle of the road, stuck between his own stupidity and the DemonRAT Machine, which is seizing the opportunity to rid themselves of someone that has been something less than 110% loyal.

Then get Howard Dean to say that race influenced the response.
And that is so wrong! Shep was with the poor white people in Mississippi tonight and they still don't have any help. Living and sleeping in blown away buildings and burning candles for light. Its pitiful. If Bush was a racist, it looks like they would have got the help first.

None of this shit is refuted and not even FOX News is doing enough to shoot this garbage down
As a matter of fact, O'Rielly is fanning the flames. He keeps saying Bush didn't move fast enough.

I think so too something's up with Scarborough. I can't bear to watch him anymore there is so much animosity he has concerning anything to do with the President and his administration. Could he have been a bitter McShame supporter, by any chance?

But if the levee's hadn't been breached, they would have left.......no?
Maybe she thought the Superdome wouldn't hold up.

The Red Cross leaders have said on the Larry King show that the La Homeland Defense People have kept them out of La..
Below is reply to this thread where shield links us to the Red Cross's site and they detail that they have been kept out.

SEE WHAT THE RED CROSS SAYS ON THEIR WEB SITE:
Hurricane Katrina: Why is the Red Cross not in New Orleans?
Access to New Orleans is controlled by the National Guard* and local authorities and while we are in constant contact with them, we simply cannot enter New Orleans against their orders.
The STATE Homeland Security Department had requested--and continues to request--that the American Red Cross not come back into New Orleans following the hurricane. Our presence would keep people from evacuating and encourage others to come into the city.

I will not be surprised if the Democrats attempt to get displaced Louisiana citizens living outside of Louisiana declared eligible to vote in Louisiana, ala the military.
You can take that to the bank. I'd lay good money on that...
I'll bet there'll also be a push to suspend ALL requirements for ID when issuing voter registrations ("We can't disenfranchise these poor folks who lost all their identification in the flood!")
It'll be Motor Voter on wheels. Um, on bigger wheels. :)

O'Reilly would sell his mother down the pike if it meant he could get higher rankings. Bill O'Reilly is very much like Bill Clinton, Both of them need to conduct a Poll before they can make a stand on any issue. For O'Reilly and Clinton... Their idea of leading is to take a Poll to see where the American people want to go. Slick Will would call Dick Morris and have him sample the latest direction the people were heading so he could attempt to step out in front and claim he was leading

Haven't the left wingers of America from Je$$e to Dean to Pelosi Galore to Reed to the Hildebea$t been claiming that GW was guilty of attempted genocide because of what happened to the blacks in the Dome and Convention Center.
Now we find out that the governor of La is responsible for what happened.
So following the liberal logic and outcries this past week, she and other rats set the blacks up for Genocide by sending them to the Dome and abandoning them.

Am I hallucinating, or have I seen an MSM sea change today. It started with a stupid Fox News liberal Chicago columnist (Heneken or some such name) contributor saying it was time to stop the blame game. And he has been one of the loudest screamers for drawing and quartering Bush. Continued with the Commie News Network text reader babe Paula Zahn going on about all the finger pointing, that it should end and to concentrate on the victims. Then the brain dead Aaron Brown chimed in it needs to be tamed down.
It just appeared to me the NO victims were not the only ones getting out, but the MSM rats were starting to jump from the dem's sinking ship in order to save some face.

Now I am seeing several stories about obstructed supplies. The smell grows ever more rank
And add to the smell the fact that she stopped the people from being forcefully evacuated today.

Guess Blanco needs time to get the DNC to forge some more National Guard documents.
