Poor guy, our President has aged so much in the past few weeks. I really feel badly for him. So much disgusting anger directed towards him. Absolutely DISGRACEFUL.

The bad numbers here (the ones we can attribute to the non-stop MSM and "conservative" bashing of Bush (Buchanan/Savage/Scarborough, etc) is Bush's performance. 34% say it's excellent or good, 40% say it's bad or terrible.

I agree. But I am so very grateful that he is our president and no one else. I'm not sure who else running for president in 2000 and 2004 could have handled these situations nearly so professionally and so well. God bless him!

It's a broken record: the MSM goes after President Bush, the dems join in the chorus, they fail. It's probably time for them to drag Joe Wilson out again.

I must admit I'm surprised. I give the American people credit for seeing through all the BS the past week.

This will be reported nowhere. The only poll that matters is the twisted thinking/bias of the MSM media. As far as they are concerned, Bush is 100% responsible.

I agree with Laura Ingraham: the media elites are far removed from mainstream Americans. Oh, and one more thing: Shut up and donate!

In other polls, 100% of the MSM blame Bush.

I say 99% of that 13% are deluded DUmmies who reflexively blame President Bush for everything, even if it happened 20+ years ago, or might happen in the future, it's always his fault.

They hate a Republican President so much, they will stop at nothing to sling mud and try to discredit him.

Screw 'em.

Sigh... it's a frickin HURRICANE! It's not an "unwinnable war" and it isn't an "extremist right-wing out-of-the-mainstream appointment"... it's a HURRICANE! How could even 13 percent sit down and think any human being could possibly be at fault for stirring up a hurricane??

That "?" bothered me too, as if he's questioning the validity. As if CNN/USAToday/Gallup would skew the results IN FAVOR OF THE PRESIDENT.

By the way, where's Cheney? Where has he been since the election? MIA, if you ask me. He should be deflecting some of the criticism, and fighting back against these charges. I'm extremely disappointed that Bush hasn't pounced back, but Cheney should DEFINITELY be doing that.
