I was thinking the same thing. Enlist their help, it is needed. Make them participants in the greater good, for the greater good. Bottom feeders and nonparticipants forced to leave, period.

As far the the ED grab, when they first started the huge mass evacuations the thought crossed my mind. Many of these people left believing they'd be allowed back in a few months, but I too am starting to go from an ED grab as a fleeting thought to a bit more concerned. Reports are starting to come in that power, water, etc. are coming back online are they going to be evac. those areas too? Note that MS residents are starting clean-up as areas are released to do so, why are NO residents not participating in the clean-up or planned to help with their own clean-up?

Again, something just doesn't feel right about the decisions that are being made. Like many here, I too could survive several months without assistance. I guess I'll just have to watch as events unfold, but there is a heartbreaking feeling starting to get worse.
