Get a rope.
Wow. A chance to start a new life and he blows it. He was a burden on NO and now becomes a Plano/Dallas burden.
send him to Ca. where it may be more acceptable to assult kids, right MJackson?
What a filthy pervert!
This is a perfect example of my earlier contention that, while the evacuation made Louisiana redder, Texas and other receiving states are becoming bluer in the process. Not all evacuees are criminals...but enough of them are to place a strain on the areas that receive them. It would not surprise me to see formerly safe GOP offices in the Houston area become Dimwit offices...or to see flight from formerly safe areas...there goes the neighborhood.
This is not a racial or ethnic statement...it is based on the fact that many of those who are being relocated are socioeconomically several levels down the ladder of success in comparison to the areas to which they are being relocated. I was at a bookstore yesterday and encountered a family of evacuees. Trailer trash that will undoubtedly hit the taxpayer lotto being reimbursed for possessions that I doubt exceeded a couple grand in value. The only thing missing were the dueling banjos.
Collin County is the wealthiest county in Texas. Why would anyone living in it want as new neighbors a bunch of poor and uneducated?...some of whom apparently are apparently violent criminals. If this was desired, I'm sure that Vicente Fox could send up a couple hundred thousand more illegals to fill the 'need.'
I empathize with losses...and have donated to charities for the relief efforts. However, don't make the human refuse problem of N.O. the problem of Texas...and don't overpay people with taxpayer money for possessions they never had in the first place.
My father called me tonight and asked if I had an empty room for a family of evacuees. I told him that I do if he knows of a family that would want to come here. He said he definitely does. Them.
They are in Dallas and have "had it with the immigration problem and now the increased crime that, intolerable before, is about to explode. There are just too many here and not enough resources."
I was a bit disappointed in my father for his pessimistic attitude. Now I read this. I fear they are going to prove him correct. :/ I expect to receive another call tomorrow after he reads the Morning News. I guess I better start getting that room ready.
Sorrily, sometimes no good deed goes unpunished. If this guy pulled this with his own family, any guesses he might be one of the wanted from the havoc in N.O. after the storm? That would be a safe bet.
This is a triumph of the human spirit!
If only President Bush had violated the US Constitution and evacuated this upstanding citizen earlier!
Are the NO refugees going to be a replay of the Mariel boatlift?
And we wonder why not a whole lotta folks are interestd in opening up their homes...
