I am really awed at your work, notations and can not even describe how angry I am at blanco, sen. landrieau and jesse jackson and hillary klinton and nancy pelosi and oprah winfrey and many others who LIED to us so blatantly.
My gosh-the rescuers/workers you showed, what GOOD PEOPLE.
How DARE these boobs trash the efforts of these people.
How DARE they try to divide our nation when so many were RIGHT THERE desparately helping those in need.
I am so mad at these photo op, divisive creeps I could scream. I mean it.
I hope the backlash for their political desire to keep this tragedy from uniting our nation like happened after 9/11 will come back to haunt ALL of them for many, many elections to come.
These people are not leaders, they are me-firsters. And to them, the rest of this nation be damned.
That's exactly how I feel about it. MSM drama queens (for whom covering a story is all about them, not the story) see only what's happening in their immediate vicinity and jump to the incorrect assumption that is the whole story. After all, if it's happening where they are, then it must be happening everywhere. NOT!!!
They are despicable.
The Coast Guard, alone, rescued somewhere around 6000 to 8000 people off roofs in New Orleans. People who would have died if Nagin and Blanco had succeeded in keeping federal first responders totally out of their city and state.
BTTT to you both! Excellent work, I sent this out to many people who just want to blame the feds and President Bush..
Because of this, I haven't heard a peep from them, seems you have put them in their places by assemblying the facts as they happened.

If I had the resources and contacts to do so, I would. Unfortunately, I'm just another "pajamadeen" working stiff.
The locals and state officials sucked, big time. The federal response was remarkable under the circumstances. They saved many thousands of lives. Broadly speaking, bureaucracies are inept, I agree. However, sometimes they do good things. The lives saved by the Coast Guard and other federal first responders in this disaster are among them.
