A lot of NOLA evac'd before Katherine, too. More than 80%.
A lot of people evac before every bad storm. The criticism of Nagin seems to be that he didn't finish a job that has never been finished, anywhere, by anyone.
It dawns on me that the MSM may just be doing opposite their intended reaction from us Republicans and bringing us firmly together... this can only bode poorly for the Dems in '06 AND '08... as to Hillary -- Can you say Janine Piro!

I saw a graphic earlier today that showed NOLA residents having evacuated to at least half the country.
I imagine that the number would have to approach 1 million before all is said and done.
