"Very few females are capable of leading in such a crisis which requires a mind that understands war. This Kath Blanco dolt showed her incompetence before during and after the hurricane. Margaret Thatcher could have handled this easy. She's the exception." I wouldn't say "VERY" few. Men more likely than women, yes, but vastly more likely? No. Some of the greatest leaders in history were women. "Exceptions", perhaps, but many more than your statement implies. Basically almost any Repub woman could do alot better than any given Dem. Over the years I can't help notice the milquetoast wishy-washy mealy-mouthed women speaking in Congress who had "Ds" after the name. Really, the immediate impression is "whining nasal wimps" - just like the hippies they are/were/love. Come to think of it, I'm thinking only of the *white* Dems! (The black don't come off so wussy.) It's all in philosophy, not sex so much!

That's true, it's the ideology more than the race or sex that determines this behavior. We have had brave women and brave black men - but Blanco and Nagin are a Dem woman and a Dem black man, respectively, which tells you where they're coming from.
BTW, I know that Nagin was a GOPer until he changed parties because he thought he couldn't get elected otherwise, but that should also tell us a lot about him and his "philosophy."

The blacks may not come off so wishy-whashy as the whites in congress, but they are such fools. Goldarn, bloody, fools like, and I'm sorry to say this, but like the ones the democrats in the south used to send up during reconstruction to meet the quotas imposed by the north.
