Most of the rescuers I saw were white. I doubt the majority of blacks feel the way the media are portraying.

Thats all you can excerpt from MSNBC? No kidding. If I wanted to browse MSNBC for articles, I would be there, not here.

On Sunday, he was praising the Lord, saying the ordeal was a test that ended up dispelling his lifelong distrust of white people...Maybe, finally, the grip the so-called Black Leadership has on the African-American population will be seen for what it is.

Were getting reports of how some religion-based aid groups are trying to fly evangelists into the stricken areas and how U.S. Army chaplains are carrying bibles -- not food or water -- to comfort people, Ellen Johnson, president of American Atheist, said in a statement. I'm sure that's the full story from this unbiased source.

If you'd read the whole article, here's the key quote:
On Sunday, he was praising the Lord, saying the ordeal was a test that ended up dispelling his lifelong distrust of white people and setting his life on a new course. He said he hitched a ride Friday in a van driven by a group of white folks.
The message of THIS article is positive on this point. I'm sure there are quotes to the contrary, and some are playing them up, but you can't blame this writer.

Geez atheists you whine about everything, to answer the atheists complaint. Its because there are alot of christians in that area who need comfort from religion as well as water and food.

People need material aid, medical care and economic support -- not prayers and preaching, she said.
What a jerk.
