WASHINGTON - (KRT) - With many blaming the growing scope of Katrina's devastation on the Bush administration, Sen. Hillary Clinton called Sunday for a 9/11-style probe into how the federal government responded to the crisis. "It has become increasingly evident that our nation was not prepared," Clinton, D-N.Y., said in a letter to Bush asking him to set up a "Katrina Commission."

Hillary trying to find relevance. She will be sure to appoint Sen. Mary Landrieu and Governor Blanco to the commission.

"Just saw this for the first time yesterday: the Lt. govenor of Louisiana is Senator Mary Landrieu's brother, Mitch LANDRIEU!"
It gets more incestous than that. Their father, Moon Landrieu was Mayor of New Orleans 1970-1978.
They are the "Kennedys" of Louisana.

Yes, by all means....Expose the failings of the Democratic Govenor and Mayor.Did you notice that she wanted an investigation into the federal response?
I don't think that is an accident.

Thanks. I don't know who created it originally. That's actually an image of Hurricane Isabel. I stole it way back when...

I hope that she starts with this article:

Note the date as well as the name of the governor and mayor.
Were I to be generous, I could credit the Ivan response as a mistake. But not having learned from that experience, I would have to move the Katrina response from "mistake" to "stupidity".

The Left took two years to politicize 9/11 and two days to politicize Katrina. Maybe they will politicize the next disaster before it happensBINGO...this is her dry run for the next terrorist attack. She's trying it out to see what sticks.

I was wondering how long Hillary could hold out and contain her hatred. She only lasted one week before she started flapping her bat wings. She must be weakening. (LOL)

Poor Hillary doesn't miss an opportunity to get her name and face before the public. She hasn't caught on yet, but most Americans are on to her and her cigar manipulating husband.

I am a taxpaying resident of NYS, a registered voter and absolutely ashamed of the two NYS senators ,especially Clinton. She is becoming more and more of an embarassment each day.
One would think that in time of a disaster we would all pull together instead of trying to muster votes for the next election. What a piece of work.

Please note the commission's charter will be limited to Federal Gov actions..this is classic control the outcome before commission even sits down...No doubt that is what Hillery would want. However, I don't think that it would work that way since there is so much interplay that 'Fed' actions can't be delineated easily - city and state affairs would get dragged in kicking and screaming whether they liked it or not. I think Hillery should get what she wants - only thing that bothers me is the cost. Regardless of what Hillery says, I think that there will be a commission - too much loss of life and property and too much blame to go around for there not to be one.

"...let the truth come out and have the Democrats be embarassed about the blame game played at the expense of the nation."
You mean like the 9/11 Commission did?
