For what?
The news channels seemed to know that things had gone to hell by Thursday. It pretty clear that there was going to be a disaster in the Superdome as early as Tuesday Morning.
If FEMA and DHS had paid attention to the news reports it would have been clear that there was a disaster brewing -- especially when compared with what they were getting from the local officials.
If they were watching the coverage, one would say that they could have easily seen that the situation was worse than expected and acted unilaterally to head the problem off at the pass.
Doesn't DHS or FEMA have access to CNN or Fox?
Lordy, I hope they don't start relying on THEM for their facts.
Rumor, allegation, over the top shep/rivera coverage?
For what?
I guess the FEDS are supposed to make life and death decisions based on MSM reports now, huh. I would assume Chertoff and Brown would not have been sitting around eating potato chips watching CNN.
Some people live in fantasyland.
