If I get this pasted go to the near bottom of the Washington Post article and see how K. Blanco thought it better to avoid Martial Law declared in her state than to save the lives of her people.
and - she is advised by the law firm of Clintoon's ex, former director Witt in how to avoid a "takeover"

At the end of the day do you think that Mayor Nagin was hired because of his leadership abilities or because of the color of his skin. He wasn't hired. He was elected through the second-most corrupt political system in America which means something else entirely and is unrelated to either his abilities or race but rather his ability to serve the Democratic Party of Louisiana.

Hey, I'm not ripping on you. You asked for some help for this poster, I started reading the thread, and well, we started talking. You didn't do anything wrong really, and maybe I reacted as a mod and not my freeper self. Remember, we're always freepers first. Good talk though.

"she is advised by the law firm of Clintoon's ex former director Witt in how to avoid a takeover."
Why am I not surprised the name of Clinton has turned up?

Nobody wants to talk about it because that kind of proposal would require personal responsibility for their particular bad idea (living below sea level), instead of demanding and expecting that the federal government pick up the tab, send a check and don't ask questions about where the money is going.

Well, the NEW "hurricane" freeper seemed to be confused, claiming BOTH sides were spinning.
And I told him that was not true because TV told me for a fact, that Bush delayed help to kill black people.
And when Bush or his evil FEMA are asked if they delayed to kill black people, their answers are SPUN to cover up the fact that they delayed on purpose to kill black people.
I hate spinners, why don't they just admit that they saw the suffering on TV and ignored it because they hate black people?
Why Mr. President why?

I doubt either will complete their term.
When all this is gone over in great detail, the time line, and the lack of action from these two is going to become blaringly apparent.

"I heard or read a story that the voters of NOLA voted dowm TWICE in the last 2 election cycles, a ballot measure to fund the necessary upkeep and maintenance costs of the levee system because it would lead to higher taxes for the city"I also read that money was given, by the feds, after 9/11, to upgrade communications, emergency services, exc...What did NOLA spend it's funding on?
Since we're playing the blame game about the whole situation:
I'll take "corrupt democrat party officials" for $1000 Alex.
